Amazing!

Our stay at Villa Ujvara e Vogël was very pleasant. The place was clean and quiet, and the view was absolutely spectacular. Alex was very kind and gave us a free upgrade to a larger house, which we really appreciated. The food was also excellent, both dinner (extra paid) and breakfast. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful stay in Theth

The location was as described by host and was easy to get to, Google maps however will become a little confused when trying to locate it, but there is a large sign at the entrance and you won’t miss it. The villa was everything I expected, cosy, surrounded by nature and exactly as shown in pictures. We barely missed the storm and had nice weather which was a bonus. The host was really friendly and was always available incase we needed to ask anything. We ate dinner on both nights there, the food was lovely and the set menu for approx 15eur per person was more than enough. It included a main meal of meat with potatoes and veg + soup, salad, bread, cheese, pickled veg and dip. Lovely. Breakfast was simple but honestly you won’t even be needing much food after having dinner there. The beds were very comfortable and the showers provided hot water to warm you up from the cold. TV and wifi worked perfectly. The electricity went out once but was back up soon after and we had no more issues after this, even with the heating on during the night. A unique experience I will remember fondly.

Perhaps a heating system for the lower part of the villa as the heater was up top and heated only the top area. Not an issue to be honest more like a bit of feedback because I would definitely recommend this place.

Interesting but not worth the price maybe not even half of it.

Location is very nice and the guy handling out the property is very kind and available to help.

The property must have terrible owners. Not having spare bed linens for the rooms must be diabolical. The bed sheets were smelly and that is because they had been put on the bed when not fully dried. The owner can probably purchase a drier for just 200$. Lights went out continuously through the night. When entered the cabin there was a big piece of mud in the sink. Also bathroom window does not close, just perfect for winter time. Jacuzzi is rather not clean and just a waste. Not worth the money that you pay for the property. Service is very good but the investment is very poor. The mattress is very uncomfortable and so are the pillows. The food was nice and Alex was very nice too. If the owners can upgrade the utilities and have proper offerings to match the price then I would recommend to visit.

The house is sweet, the location is nice

The location, the nature, the bigger house is beautiful but has temperature and sound issues.

The house is very cold in November and does not have sound isolation, the neighbors were having party after midnight, for me and my family not being able to get asleep and have a rest. I did not want to bother the manager, and because I always deal with my problems myself, I went to the neighbours directly, but in the end I was treated in a very non-client oriented and bad way, and the manager was very rude with me, with threads to call the police and offends to my native countries. This is unfortunate experience for the whole stay in Albania

Nice villa

The villa itself is very beautiful. Amazing view, quiet area near Theth center. Aleks was polite, always responsive. Breakfast delicious.

Its actually an issue of the whole village, they have weak electric current and have to depend on generators. During the afternoon/evening generator was off and AC was not working, jakuzi was not working. Wifi had some problems, so Tv also was not working. They kept the generator on only for 4 hours (during dinner).

Amazing place !

We had a lovely stay at one of the little cottages on the site. The people welcomed us with open arms, the facilities were very clean and well maintained. A lovely big yard which our toddler especially enjoyed playing with the balls! Great views, great food, 100% recommend.

The local zipline goes right over the property, making a zooming noise throughout the day, didn’t bother us, and stops in the evening.

Excellent, beautiful place, but the price rises expectations

The location above the village offers a relaxing environment and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The owners are friendly and helpful. They offer homemade delicious dinner and breakfast. The village is in walking distance, reachable in 15' using a narrow path along the river. We really enjoyed the place.

We booked the villa for 2 days. It offers a very decent atmosphere and an open bedroom on the first floor. Being aware of the remoteness and difficult transportation, we still feel that it is a bit overpriced (as is true for Theth in total). Considering the price, we would have appreciated a few shelves on the ground floor and in the bathroom. Some deck chairs would have made enjoying the beautiful scenery more comfortable.

Unfortunately we paid extra for the room with hot tub but when we came to use it after our hike the water was freezing. We were only there for one night which was a shame.

The location was exceptional. Just a short walk away from the village of Theth and surrounded by mountains. The best view we have ever had, lovely waking up to mountains all around. Aleks was an amazing host, nothing too much trouble for him and a lovely man. Always helpful and hard working and ready to answer our questions. The bed was comfortable and villa very clean. Great breakfast and we had one meal with him, which was very nice.

Nothing really, although a kettle in the room might have been nice. There was a coffee machine, but nothing for tea drinkers. Apart from that all good.

Villa Ujevara is a dreamy place! Located in the most beautiful mountain setting imaginable, the villas are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, we god to try the local foods and wine. Alex is a perfect host! Couldn’t recommend it more.

Lovely stay in Theth National Park

We had a great stay here. The panoramic view of the mountain range from the villa was incredible. Aleks the host provided us with great recommendations of what to do in the area and was very accommodating. The villa itself was very comfortable and cozy! We opted to stay for dinner which was great value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Alex is an excellent host. The gite was clean, and we appreciated the fridge. Wifi was good enough to stream Netflix.

The espresso machine was a nice touch but the machine did not heat the water enough to make a good coffee. Good coffee was provided at breakfast however.

Perfect for Theth

Aleks is the best host! We slept in a brand new villa/cabin that was very modern and of good quality. The location is amazing! Inbetween the alps on a very quiet place just a 10 min walk outside of Theth. When we walked to Theth we saw all the other accomodations that were all very close to each other and very busy with other tourists. We enjoyed the serenity and marvelous views at Ujëvara e vogël. Breakfast and dinner is of very high quality and good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

It is possible (in all Albania we have learned) that you can sometimes get a power failure. When we visited Theth it was 30+ degrees Celsius, and the cabin we stayed at heats up fast, so then you cannot use the airco. Luckily Aleks turned on a backup generator.

מארחת נעימה ונחמדה, הכל היה נקי ומסודר. אדיבים מוד, עזרו לנו עם המזוודות והסבירו אודות החדר. נוף מדהים של הרים מושלגים בחציים, קרוב לאומגה ולטרקטורונים- אטרקציות.

הדירה חצויה לשני אורחים. כל אורח מקבל חצי וילה, שמורכב מ-2 קומות, עם מדרגות מאוד תלולות. אין אפשרות לחמם את הקומה למטה על ידי מזגן, אלא רק בעזרת תנור אש- קמין. אנחנו ויתרנו על הרעיון של ריח העשן בדירה, ונשארנו בקור נוראי של דצמבר. הזרם של המים החמים במקלחת היה דק מאוד, ולמאחרת האדיבה לא היה מה לעשות בנידון, כך שהיה ממש קר להתקלח. בנוסף, הדרך לדירה היתה כלולה במעבר על דשא רטוב עם בוץ חלקלק מאוד ששקענו בו עם המזוודות. בנוסף, "השכנים שלנו" בחצי הדירה הדליקו את תנור האש- וכל הלילה ישנו עם ריח של עשן בחדר. כל הבגדים והשיער עם ריח של עשן נוראי.

De stroom viel regelmatig uit, kleine warm water boiler dus na 1 persoon douchen moet je weer wachten totdat er warm water is. Kijk goed welke ‘Villa’ je boekt want de ‘superior villa’ is gewoon een netjes aangeklede container en voor een te hoge prijs. Je kan hier ook niet meer paardrijden, die dienst bieden ze niet meer aan.

Le paradis sur terre

Tout était parfait : le cadre, le service, le restauration, le gérant… absolument rien à redire, nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison. Nous étions au paradis, difficile de repartir de ce cadre calme et merveilleux.

Absolument rien ! Petit « bémol » pour les indications pour arriver à l’accueil qui est le restaurant. S’il faut chipoter, le parking pourrait être un petit peu plus caché
