Great but poorly-lit hotel overlooking beautiful valley

Generally very nice hotel, adequate room, etc. Outstanding location for views, overlooking the town/valley/etc., though that does mean the hike home is long if you aren't in some sort of car. Restaurant was awesome and staff was super helpful and accommodating.

The restaurant only serves all its most interesting dishes in sizes of 1 kg, so, uh, I'd suggest not eating lunch. More prominently, the lighting in my room was atrocious. There was one very dim ceiling light, and while sitting directly under it at night I was not able to read.

Great experience, the owner Assem welcomes you with an open heart. Food amazing, views amazing, rooms very clean and they go above and beyond to treat you like a king. When Assem knew i was Lebanese he adjusted the music to fit my style. I also brought my work with me and was able to work while enjoying my stay. Highly recommend it!

Amazing for an escape in nature

The scenery from the rooms is ... breathtaking!! We could see the mountains first thing in the morning when we woke up. The staff is really friendly, speak decent english. There is a designated parking area (which can be crowded in the evening but we always found a spot to park). Keep in mind, that Theth village itself is ~10 min drive away, but if you have a car that shouldnt be a problem.

Beautiful location, comfortable room, clean and well kept facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our breakfast the night before so we could take it with us on our hike as we left early. And a wonderful friendly dog who welcomed us to the property and made sure we went the right way when we left the next day!

Incredible mountain hotel.

Gorgeous mountain hotel. We stayed in a double and triple in the main block with stunning balconies looking over the mountains. Dinner and breakfast absolutely incredible. Staff friendly.

Synthetic bed sheets too slippery for me. Prefer cotton.

Absolutely loved our stay. Would recommend.

Staff were really lovely and helpful. They upgraded our room which was an amazing surprise after a long day of hiking. Our dinner we had there was delicious ! And the views from the room, insane ! Facilities were clean and tidy.

Only issue was it was quite out of town, took us 30 minutes walking uphill to get there from theth but it was worth it for the views from the rooms and Resturant.

Perfect for a quaint, peaceful getaway.

I went end of May, and there were little to no other toursits and it was so peaceful and quaint. The room had a breathtaking view of the mountains and the food was delicious with the restaurant they had. They had a cute puppy that put a smile on our face as well. Blue eye hike was very close to get to!

Make sure you buy water bottles and snacks before if you’re someone who gets peckish as the shop is a short drive away. Be careful of the drivers if you’re not used to the confidence of the locals :)

Would definitely recommend!

Very clean, and awesome staff. Tasty large breakfast, which we enjoyed having on the restaurant porch. It was chilly in the evenings, but they provided us with space heaters (which not all hotels in Thethi have). Great food at the restaurant, we enjoyed the trout.

It’s a 5 minute drive uphill out of Thethi which is just fine if you have a car; those walking in should stay closer to town (ie the river).

The View from the room was excellent. Mountain and valley view. Perfect was relaxing break. Dinner hall was the best place to enjoy the breeze with food. Breakfast was great and one staff was very helpful

Do not recommend it if you don't have a car. This is almost 2 km from the centre with elevation where most of the treks start. They provided only one free ride per stay to the center.

A comfortable family stay with family

The view from the hotel was mesmerizing. The heating in the room was adequate and had hot water supply. The mattresses were comfortable. On request room cleaning was done which was nice. The food was yummy.

Staff was not helpful in terms of being kind. Also the water heater in the room gave me shock which scared me. Hope they fix it and prevent a disaster.

We had a comfortable wooden house with a wonderful view to the mountains. The main hiking trails were within 20 minutes by car. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food was great.

Very peaceful stay hosted by very kind people, I loved it here!

I had a fantastic stay here! The staff were really friendly and happy to help with anything, and also gave me a free room upgrade. The restaurant is really good with very nice meals and plenty of options for food and drink, the restaurant staff are also very nice! This property accepts card payments also which was a relief as I had no cash and heard Theth had no card payments!

It was a bit of a long walk from the centre of Theth after walking all the way from Valbona but this was not a big problem :)

Comfortable

The location is very nice, up the mountain looking down on Theth village. Our room had a great view over the valley and sun on the balcony. The room is basic but nice, and we booked another night so we could do a nice long hike. Breakfast is basic but tasty, dinner is good.

Just two suggestions we have; hooks for your coat/bath towel and lamps on the night stand. The only light is the big one which is a bit less cosy.

Albanian hospitality 100% . The hosts are very nice and friendly, kind and welcoming, One of the best night had there 🥰 amazing place very grand view from the guest house. Dinner was exceptional, with very large portions and fantastic local ingredients. Felt like an authentic experience of life in Theth. Accomodations clean and comfortable.

The most picturesque location with spectacular views of the mountains and theth valley. The staff were very helpful and approachable, and the restaurant food was excellent standard and nothing beats the puppies!!

Thethi SomewhatOk Hotel & Restaurant

We were given a welcome drink when we arrived. Staff was nice, the lady showed us the deers and the little dogs. Bed was comfortable. Location is good if you’re with a car.

The access road is steep and not asphalted. Restaurant was overpriced. Can’t compare with anything else in Theth, but for albanian standards was really too much. Inexistent Wi-Fi in the rooms. Bathroom was not super dirty, but a little more attention to detail would be welcome. Paper walls in the bungalows.

Cottage in the mountain

The cottage is cute and fits in the enviroment. The room is very small but ok for a short staying. There is a nice little porch. Near the cottage there is a restaurant where you can have breakfast or dinner. We had breakfast and it was delicious; very traditional. At the arrival the host offered us a welcome drink that we appreciate a lot. We parked the motorcycle just outside the restorant where it was secure..

Everything is made for a simple staying and thats ok, but some things should be repaired: there is no bathtub and when you take a shower the water wets all the floor in the bathriom... The main door doesn't close well so it's cold at night...the heater is very week. One more thing to be careful: the road from the main Street it's very steep and it's dirt.
