The woman who prepared the meals was friendly and helpful. She gave good advice about starting our hike through the forest behind the property. The breakfast omelette was very nice.

Unfortunately this place just didn't live up to all of the other places we stayed on the Peaks of the Balkan Trail. Value for money there are better options. It was not ideal to have a single shared bathroom for the entire house.

A very hospitaable stay with a slice of local cuisine and culture

An amazing guest house and experience on the Peaks of the Balkans trail. We had our own private room and it was very comfortable and practical. The owner/ host and his team of volunteers put on a huge delicious dinner and entertainment / share knowledge of the local area. One of our favourite stops on the trail. Very hospitable host!

There is only one bathroom in the main house to multiple rooms. Although this is not a major issue it was slow and meant queueing for showers after a long days hike.

Very clean and spacious. The food was amazing best food on the trail. Agron and his family were very hospitable and welcoming to us. They taught us a lot about the history of the Balkan food and the peak of the Balkan trail.

Bit expensive for lunch pack considering we only got a sandwich and piece of fruit for 6€.

AMAZING!

My 3 days stay was amazing, it felt like home!! The location is amazing, which allows you to hike for days. The food is home cooked and is also amazing and the best food you will find during a Peaks of the Balkans trail. The host (Agron) and his family are extremely kind people and nothing is too much for them! I stayed for 3 days and Agron arranged my transfer from Podgorica and every day mapped out my hiking trails with me! In addition, we did a jeep tour which was amazing! I will definitely come back for the quad tour and some extra hiking (especially know I found out that Agron is also able to help with trails and your border permits)!

Room in booking for 38€ for 2 persons. We had dinner and breakfast and Lunchbag and paid 70€ for both of us. Price structure was unfortunately not transparent. Allegedly 15€ for the lunch bag, which however turned out very low compared to other accommodations. I would wish that prices are communicated more clearly and better. On the whole, however, 70€ was ok.

The owner of this place is so extremely Nice. We stopped over here because we were doing the 10 day Peaks of the Balkans Trek. This was the best meal of our entire trek! My cousin also ended up very sick with a flu and the owner was so nice to take care of us and drive him into the town the next day. I couldn’t have asked for a better host or a place to stay during our hike. The owner is extremely accommodating. It is a very apparent that he is passionate about providing a wonderful experience for the people who stay here. Well worth it!

Amazing stop on our Peaks of the Balkans hike

Agron is a fantastic host speaking excellent English and German. His family prepares delicious food for dinner and breakfast while he can tell a lot about the surrounding area and its history during dinner. The Triangle Wood House is very nicely located on the edge of the forest overlooking the mountains of Babino Polje. It's a great place to stay during the Peaks of the Balkans Trail but there are also day hikes possible from here. Agron also offers other activities in the area like rafting and quad biking through the mountains. I will definitely come back in a few years

A stay that will live long in the memory.

This was the most memorable of my stays while walking the Peaks of the Balkans trail. Agron is an entertaining and truly exceptional host. The multi-course meal he prepared was outstanding, and I can genuinely write that never before I have I experienced a moussaka flambé! Agron is a fantastic source of information on the life and culture of Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania in the high mountains. I really enjoyed my brief stay and strongly recommend Agron's guest house as one of the best I have ever visited.

Proklatije (east side) - Hard life in the mountains. The owner Agran (looking like Jean Reno) treats you as a king. His accommodation will show you the authentic life in the mountains in little luxury style with rich breakfast and famous dinner full of surprises prepared by village locals all according to their recipes and ingredients. Relax and feel like at home even if you do not come from mountains. You will be in good hands.

Super herzliche Gastgeber. Das Abendessen war das beste Essen aus dem ganzen Peaks of Balkan. Das Ambiente und “Show Effekt” war genial, das Essen unfassbar lecker und mehr als nur ausreichend. Wir hatten kurzzeitige Probleme mit dem Wasser im Haus, so dass wir woanders duschen durften inkl. Shuttleservice dort hin. Wir haben super viele Tipps für die Weiterreise erhalten. Absolut fantastische Unterkunft und meine Nr. 1 auf der kompletten Peaks of the Balkans Runde. Sensationelle Dusche mit diversen Verstellmöglichkeiten inklusive von der Seite 😃. Das absolut hervorragende Abendessen wird regelrecht zelebriert. Und mit dem Eigentümer kann man sich sehr gut über den Peaks of the Balkans unterhalten, da er einer der Mitinitiatoren ist. Sogar auf deutsch, da er lange Zeit in Deutschland gelebt hat und das auch noch im Winter macht.

Ich musste am nächsten Tag wieder weiter 😅

Super Gasthaus mit sehr leckerem Essen!

Die Übernachtung in dieser Unterkunft war sehr speziell und einzigartig. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass der Gastgeber selbst und seine „Assistenten“ deutsch sprechen! Das Abendessen war köstlich und wurde förmlich zelebriert, sodass es fast einer kleinen Show gleich kam. :-) Wir hatten uns auf der Wanderung zuvor etwas verlaufen und kamen daher ziemlich gestresst an. Die äußerst freundliche und empathische Art sowie die Atmosphäre im Gasthaus sorgte dafür, dass wir uns nach kurzer Zeit sehr gut entspannen konnten!

Zeer fijn verblijf in Balbino Polje

Het eten was heerlijk, alles was thuis bereid. Het personeel was zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. De woonkamer was erg gezellig. De bedden waren comfortabel.

In het huis was maar één badkamer die soms bezet was. Het bed is voor lange mensen zoals ik aan de kleine kant.

Das Abendessen war abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Die schlechteste und zugleich teuerste Unterkunft auf dem gesamten PoB Wanderweg. Gebuchtes Zimmer (Vierbettzimmer mit Bergblick) wurde nicht gestellt wegen vermeintlich systembedingter Überbuchung. Die gebotene Leistung (zusätzliche Matratze auf dem Boden eines 6-Bett-Zimmers) war deutlich überteuert. Das Lunchpaket war stark rationiert wegen der vielen Gäste.

Alles in orde. Warm water om te douchen, goede bedden, lekker lokaal klaargemaakt eten… Zeer hartelijk welkom door de host.

Jammer dat de host meestal Duits sprak in groep omdat onze medebewoners Duitstalig waren. Engels was leuk geweest om te kunnen deelnemen aan de gesprekken.
