The kitchen . The restaurant was very basic and didn’t provide a menu so options was very limited and price very high . Also parking need improvement as is just in the mud .

A really great place to stay!

The setting was beautiful with views of the mountain and the cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Dinner was tasty and we had an excellent breakfast (included) before setting off on the walk to Theth. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings, relaxed lodges and staff, great to relax after walking.

Lovely lodges set in stunning surroundings. We stayed for one night after walking from Theth and it was perfect to relax on the balcony and soak up the scenery. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great - fresh fish from the little river nearby. Could easily have stayed another day just to relax.

Great Stay Before the Hike – Beautiful Views & Kind Staff

Villas Jezerca was a lovely place to stay. The rooms are simple but very new, clean, and well-organized. The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking! The staff were incredibly kind – they prepared lunch boxes for our hike (for an extra fee, but still very thoughtful), and we also had lunch at the guesthouse, which was delicious. If you're planning to hike from Valbona to Theth, keep in mind that the trailhead is about 4 km from the hotel, so arranging a transfer is a good idea. Also, make sure to buy everything you need in Shkoder, as there are no supermarkets in Valbona. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended for hikers!

Very friendly and helpful staff, the place had its own 'homie' vibe and staff seemed to get along and actually enjoy working there. The room was clean and had a nice balcony and very peaceful feeling overall, with beautiful mountains surrounding the view. The restaurant was really good, had a nice atmosphere and good food. For a small fee, they can drive you to the starting point of the Valbone-Theth hike, since the locations is slightly further away than other guest houses.

The room could have benefited from a small fridge and perhaps a fan, since there was no aircon and it got really hot at night. Only cash payments.

We were tired from a long day of hirking from Theth. The staff was very welcoming and checked us in immediately. It's a beautiful property and our room was perfectly adequate.

It's a bit of a hike if you're coming from hiking the Theth to Valbone trail. We were lucky to get a ride from some fellow hikers.

Nice place for a short stay

The location is the best in the village. Green and very beautiful. The cabins are functional with convenient beds and good shower.

When we stayed the weather was hot during the day and it was impossible to stay on cabin. Also the WIFI didn’t work which was critical for us as digital nomads,

Peaceful stay in the moutains

Beautiful back drop! The food at the restaurant is also very yummy. They can arrange drop off to start of valbone hike for small fee which was very helpful! Also gave us packed breakfast for hike as we left at 6am!

No aircon- however the room was not too hot at night!

Stunning location!

The view from the cabin is everything! The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to spend 3 days in Valbona. As we had little kids we didn't do the Valbona-Teth hike, but just walked around town (which is really small) but kids enjoyed themselves by playing on the swing and walking in the flower fields. Valbona is really quiet, which we liked! The hosts are super sweet and accommodating! We had breakfast included which was traditional and absolutely delicious and super fresh. Lunch/dinner is also traditional and super delicious. There is lots of outdoors space and beautiful views everywhere! There is a little steam at tje property where they have there own forel/fish!

Food is absolutely stunning! But there is no menu to look into. They ask you what you like and make it fresh for you. Which is great at one hand but a bit harder at the other hand as you don't know what they all have. Don't worry about the prices without a menu card, they are fare!!!

Beautiful upperfloor of a cabin with panoramic windows and balcony. We really enjoyed waking up with a view of the mountains and the rising sun lying in our bed. Not all cottages are like this, but we can recommend everyone to stay in one of these cottages. Very special. The cabin is new and we enjoyed the warm rain shower and comfortabel bed alsof very much. Best view we had in Albania. It’s in the valley surrounded by mountains. Quite and peaceful. We also loved the hospitality of the family who owns this place. Delicious food at the hotel restaurant. Best chicken we ever had. And a lot of food, meaning A LOT. Our stay was like living your dream. We would really recommend Villas Jezerca.
