Perfect for a stay around Shkoder, if you have a car

Villa Linda is an excellent place to stay around Shkoder if you have a car. We stayed there for a trip to Theth. The place is super clean, and the garden is very nice and welcoming. Linda also has two cute dogs, and if you're lucky you might even get a tour of the "little farm" where you can see chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, a cute donkey, a wineyard. The breakfast was awesome, a great start for the day. We had a great sunset from our room. We're really happy that we chose this place and would definitely stay again

I recommend it

It is very peaceful and hosts are lovely! Here you can have nice time outside in the garden and watch sunset! I had a balcony! In warm summer it is perfect stop. Breakfast was so rich that it was hard to eat it all :)

Feels like visiting close family!

Set just a little outside of the city of Shkodër provided the peace and quiet we needed but with everything we needed on hand. Linda and Marco met us with a warmth when we first arrived which continued until the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble and Linda is an excellent cook. Breakfast was excellent and kept us going until our evening meal. There are fruit trees and vines all around and they invited us to take whatever we needed, Marco supplied his red wine to drink which was outstanding The room was very comfortable and I was glad we chose the room with the jacuzzi especially after a hike to the accursed mountains. We stopped here for 3 nights but now I'm regretting not booking for more and I know I will be back to see these lovely people again.

Comfortable rooms, lovely setting, wonderful hospitality.

We spent one night at Hotel Villa Linda and left early next morning for Valbona. The room was clean and comfortable, but the best part of our stay was the service and hospitality: Linda and Marko made all of the arrangements for travel to Valbona and back from Theth for us, and that went smoothly. And we really enjoyed our afternoon in the garden visiting with their family. Lovely people, really generous hospitality (and good wine, too!).

For us the location was perfect, and it was nice to relax in their garden, but it is 10-15 minutes outside of Shkodër, so maybe not a great pick if you prefer to be in town.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – Perfect Stay at Villa Linda

We were a family of six, travelling from Montenegro to Albania, and stopped for one night at Villa Linda. It turned out to be such a wonderful choice that our children (all teenagers, 16 and older) even asked if we could extend our stay! The villa is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Linda and her partner were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. Linda speaks good English, which made communication easy, and her lovely grandson Liam, introduced to us as the “business manager” 😁, helped translate with the grandparents and made us all smile. They gave us fantastic local recommendations, including a good fish restaurant that we loved. Overall, it was a five-star experience, sweet hosts, an amazing villa, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely book again if passing through. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem! Amazing!!!

The most welcoming host! One of my most pleasant stay ever! Linda surely is one of a kind and so helpful. You feel like home! Beautiful surroundings, garden amazing and many animals and so much fun for kids. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you so so much!! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic place!

The hotel is fantastic. Very beautiful place, wonderful flowers, comfortable chalet, the owners are so helpfull and it's quiet and calm there, although it's also easy to get downtown. The breakfast is also very good, with products made at the place.

A perfect get away in skoder!

The accomodation is beautiful, in a relaxed area just outside of skoder. Linda and her husband are a very friendly couple from italy. Villa Linda is located on their farm with many animals, which Linda was happy to show us! I loved this. This makes the accomodation a perfect get away from daily life. We also highly enjoyed our room and the jacuzzi!

Wonderful stay

Good location a bit far from Skoder in residential area. Everything was clean and convenient. The host Linda was super nice but speaks Italian and very less English. But it’s not a problem for us although. Good breakfast with eggs, vegetables, cheese, bread and butter. I highly recommend if you look for a place to stay near Shkodër.

A very clean and comfortable room with wonderful hosts who were warm, welcoming, and kind. We truly felt at home. They graciously showed us around the property and shared their space, making it an excellent and affordable place to stay.

Extremely clean, comfortable, beautiful property, cute animals, homey feel.

I have never stayed somewhere so clean in my life woah!! Also the bed was extremely comfortable. I travel with a mint pillow and it was the only place I didn’t need to use it. So comfortable. The house is gorgeous and they have all that you need and also so many adorable animals and beautiful plants they really take care of the place. Perfect place to park and just very homey feel and again SO COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN!! Quite not stuck in the loud city. You can drink water from the outside tap it’s clean good water :)

If you don’t have a car it would be a bit more difficult but still doable. If you don’t speak Italian or Albanian there is a major language barrier so just be prepared for google translate but that’s no problem.

Perfect!:)

Our stay at Villa Linda was beautiful! We had room with balcony and bathroom, everything was really clean. We stayed for two nights and wanted to stay longer. The location is calm and the car was no problem, we parked in the garden. We also had a beautiful breakfasts here in the garden, which was really nice. Linda and Marco are great hosts and lovely people, they are very communicative and helpful. They have also a little farm and vineyard, you have to try their homemade wine! We bought a bottle and enjoyed it later. :) We can only recommend this place. Thank you, Linda and Marco! :) We send greetings from Czechia.

Amazing experience

After a 5-hour drive through scenic views of Albania, we were searching for a place to relax and stumbled upon this amazing house. Marco and Linda warmly welcomed us, and we immediately felt their energy. They showed us the animals they had; we met the dogs, some newly born bunnies, and the one-year-old donkey named Ugou. Linda's garden is incredibly beautiful, and you can truly understand the love she puts into taking care of it. We had a peaceful, relaxing night in a very clean room with a large comfortable bed, and the internet connection was good. Waking up to the sound of birds singing and enjoying a tasty breakfast was delightful. I've visited many guest houses in various countries, but this is truly one of the best and is worth much more than its price.

Séjour convivial chez Villa Linda

Très bel accueil de la part de Linda et Marco. Nous avons pris une chambre mais on a pu voir les chalets dans le jardin (et ils donnaient envie). La chambre avait tout le nécessaire et le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux. La ville de Shkoder est à quelques kilomètres, nous sommes arrivés à vélo (endroit sécurisé pour les stocker). La Villa Linda n’est pas dans Shkoder mais décider de loger chez Linda et Marco c’est vouloir partager un moment convivial, on a passé une fin de journée avec eux à discuter autour d’un verre de vin (de leur production). On recommande le logement car la maison est très bien mais aussi pour rencontrer Linda et Marco, et c’est pour ces moments qu’on voyage.

Maravillosa experiencia en plena naturaleza

Desde el primer momento, el trato en Hotel Villalinda fue excepcional: amabilidad, atención y un ambiente familiar que te hace sentir como en casa. La habitación era cómoda y contaba con un jacuzzi estupendo, perfecto para relajarse después de un día explorando la zona. El desayuno fue espectacular, con productos frescos directamente de la granja todo delicioso y auténtico. Además, tuvimos la suerte de que nos enseñaran los animales, una experiencia encantadora. Por la noche incluso nos ofrecieron vino casero, un detalle que hizo la estancia aún más especial. En resumen, un lugar con encanto, hospitalidad sincera y una paz difícil de encontrar. Sin duda volveremos.

جينا كعائلتان واخذنا يومين في فيلا ليندا، الصراحة مره انبسطنا، ليندا صاحبة المزرعة عندها أكواخ وعندها فيلا غرف حسينا كأننا ف بيتنا من جد، اخذنا غرفتين مع شرفتها وحمامها الخاص، وفي غسالة بس برسوم، الفطور متضمن مع الحجز وكل شي عضوي من مزرعتهم، الحليب والخضراوات حتى الزبدة والخبز، الصراحة كل شي كان بيرفكت وحلال. الغرف كانت نظيفة ما شاء الله، الشوزات ممنوعة فوق واعطونا سليبرات، الحمام كان نظيف وفي شطاف اهم شي، المزرعة أخذونا فيها جولة وجربنا كل شي عندهم تقريبًا 🥹🤍 باب الشرفة عازل للصوت فما كان في اي ازعاج خارجي وقت النوم، المكان مريح جدًا ما شاء الله، ارشح المكان لأي احد ناوي يزور شكودر 🤍🤍🤍

Tutto meraviglioso, davvero!

Viaggio molto per lavoro e questo è stato in assoluto uno dei posti più accoglienti in cui sia mai stata. I proprietari, Linda e Marco, (che parlano benissimo italiano, tra l'altro!) sono persone meravigliose, molto accoglienti e gentili. Io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo sentiti come a casa, tant'è che dovevamo fermarci solo per 1 notte e alla fine siamo rimasti per 4 notti! Le camere sono tutte pulitissime, luminose e ben curate. Anche la colazione preparata da Linda è davvero buona. Ci hanno anche aiutato con l'organizzazione del tour per Shala River (ci siamo trovati benissimo!) e ci hanno consigliato ottimi posti da vedere in zona, come il Ponte di Mes. Nulla di negativo da dire, davvero: posto magnifico! Auguro loro il meglio perché se lo meritano. 💕

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit chez Marko et Linda ! Le logement est très facile d’accès et dispose d’un parking, ce qui est très pratique. Nous avions une chambre dans la maison familiale : elle était confortable, +-calme, et offrait une belle vue sur le jardin. Le petit déjeuner, inclus dans le prix, était délicieux et copieux. Marko et Linda sont des hôtes accueillants et attentionnés. Nous recommandons vivement !

Très propre et chalet très mignon et confortable. Jardin bien entretenu. Commande de pizza possible ( prévoir une heure pour la livraison) aide par la propriétaire qui est très gentille et serviable.

Fantastisk gjestfrie, behjelpelige og hyggelige verter. God frokost med råvarer fra egen hage. Mye dyr som er kjekt både for barn og voksne. Om du skal til dette området bør du overnatte her, vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Du skal lete lenge etter mennesker som Linda og Marco!

Home away from home.Ultieme locatie voor het bezoeken van Noord Albanie.Magische plek!

Wauw, Linda en Marco creëren met hun hotel een home away from home. Een Garden of Eden met een Italiaans tintje( ze hebben 30 jaar in Italië gewoond). Een heerlijk huis met geweldige kamers met badkamer en balkon en 3 heerlijke huisjes in de prachtige tuin. Linda en Marco zijn zeer gastvrij en helpen je met geweldige tips voor restaurants of andere vragen. Ook een pizza bestellen en die eten in de idyllische tuin met de huisgemaakte wijn uit de wijngaard achter het huis van Linda en Marco is een optie. Toen wij aangaven dat we een taxi zochten naar Shkoder boden ze zelfs aan ons te brengen. Daarnaast serveren ze een heerlijk ontbijt. Ondertussen lopen de kleine hondjes van Linda en Marco vrolijk door de tuin en geniet de kleindochter in haar luier van alles wat ze kan vinden. We waren hier twee dagen maar wilden eigenlijk niet meer weg. Een geweldig uitgangspunt en enorme aanrader voor iedereen die het noorden van Albanie wil bezoeken. Wij komen zeker terug naar deze geweldige plek nabij Shkoder.
