Lovely villa near Dubrovnik

Absolutely fantastic villa, beautifully styled and designed.

The location was wonderful. Close enough to old town Dubrovnik but also in a peaceful little village with a small harbour. Our host was excellent, so welcoming, even providing some wine and chocolates on arrival as I had mentioned it was a family holiday to celebrate my birthday. The kitchen is well equipped and we made the most of the bbq. The open plan living space is really nicely designed. It also worked well having the games room upstairs with an additional TV so it felt as though everyone had their own space. There was 8 of us. Ognjen was super helpful with communications and provided lots of helpful information on supermarkets, restaurants and boat trips. We will definitely be returning!

There is nothing to fault with this fabulous villa, but the pool was bit cold this time of year! We still made the most of it though. It gives us a reason to return in the summer warmer months.

Best place I have ever been too and nicest host!

Villa was awesome, stuffed with everything we needed including additional towels, beach towels, ice maker etc. Ognjen (the host) took care about all our needs, recommended us best options for local attractions and even organised airport transfor for us! We had great time! Also we broke small plastic part in a dishwasher and Ognjen was very calm about it, we agreed to paid the price of replacable part (that is very generous offer by host, as it doesn't include the cost of trouble to replace it).

Best Booking.com Stay I've Ever Had

The villa comfortably sleeps 10 adults. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, plus an additional guest toilet by the pool. Rooms were air-conditioned. There are thoughtful touches throughout the house, including an ice machine, pool floats, and a bar fridge right by the pool. The kitchen is well-equipped for group catering (cooking oil, salt and pepper were provided). We also loved the barbeque! There is a dishwasher and a washing machine, detergent provided. Zaton is a charming village with its own bars, restaurants, bakery (cash only) and a small grocery store. It is a 5 minute stroll from the villa to the water, with plenty of spots to swim. What a pleasure to be away from the chaos of the Old Town! Above all, the best thing about the villa is the host. Ognjen went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From driving us to the larger grocery store to do a big shop at the beginning of our stay, to providing recommendations and directions for activities, to helping us find a French press to make coffee, nothing was too much to ask. Thank you Ognjen! We would highly recommend Villa Olivila.

Occasionally it can be tricky to order Ubers from the villa. Sometimes we had to wait a while. One night, we left the Old Town quite late and there were no Ubers available (we had to get metered taxi cabs). Pre-booking Ubers helped. You could rent a car, but there is very limited parking available in the Old Town.

Brilliant stay

We loved our stay at this villa. The location was perfect, in the quiet hills and only a short walk away from restaurants and beach. We had rented cars and it was a 10-15 min drive into dubrovnik. The perfect getaway for a large group of people who are looking to enjoy each other's company, soak in the beauty and have access to some site seeing. The pool was amazing and we loved how many areas there were to hang out. Wish we were there for longer.

It is far from dubrovnik if you didnt have a car but I think you could easily get a taxi.

11/10 would recommend to anyone! Not often you find anything of this standard.

The property was immaculate, everything was there to start your stay, even wine 🙌🏼. Plenty of bathrooms, amazing bedrooms and everything you need, can’t compliment it any more. The host could not do any more, took us to the supermarket, booked our boat ride and constantly asked if we needed anything.

Fantastic holiday home with everything you need – highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful holiday home in Zaton, just outside Dubrovnik. First of all, the host was amazing – super friendly, quick and clear in communication, and very helpful throughout our stay. Everything felt well-organized from the start. The house itself is spotless and feels brand new. Everything is very well maintained and fully equipped — fast and reliable WiFi, new air conditioning units in every room, great showers, and large, comfortable beds with quality mattresses. You can tell real care has gone into this place. Outside, there’s a lovely pool with sunbeds and towels, a shaded dining area, and a great BBQ setup. Our kids loved having their own separate apartment, complete with a foosball table and dartboard. There were also pool floats, balls, and games provided, which was a nice touch. There’s plenty of parking space at the property. The location is peaceful but convenient — easy to reach by car and just a short drive to Dubrovnik. The small harbor in Zaton is within walking distance. While Zaton itself is quiet and not overly lively, it’s a great base for a relaxing week with day trips in the area. All in all, a fantastic stay. We would definitely love to come back!

Great, attractive, amazing.

The property was very comfortable, with clean and spacious rooms. The pool was well-maintained and large enough. The host was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always reachable. He shared all the information we needed about Dubrovnik. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday accommodation was there. Thank you so much for everything!
