Excellent Apartments Short Walk to City Centre

Excellent apartment, we had to book two for the family and both properties were fantastic, recommend others to stay here, close to town with view of the port, nice touch leaving soft drink in the fridges and chocolates on arrival. Restaurants close by and convenience stores.

Nothing really, the apartments are on a hill and you do have to lift heavy suitcases up steps, so be aware of this if this will be an issue.

Chillaxed location in contrast to Old Town Dubrovnik

Clean , spacious, private. Lovely large shady terrace. Well located. Easy 30 min walk or bus ride to main attractions in old town, but also close to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and waterside. Yet very peaceful.

Sound insulation very dependent on who is staying in other flats and in adjacent similar properties. This was not at all an issue during our stay.

The host was warm and met us on our agreed-upon time and communicated through WhatsApp, which was a major plus as we had US phones. The underground parking was a major plus and felt safe. The parking lot is, however, really tight although most Europeans probably can’t tell the difference. The place was wonderfully cleaned. Well stock with all kitchen utensils. We had a comfort one bedroom, which had a beautiful patio would we needed more towels the host quickly provided them and the cruise port is less than a two minute walk away. The photos I posted are upon checkout and it was still super clean Bathroom was clean and large. The shower was larger than most hotels and overall the value for this property was absolutely amazing would come again. Thank you APARTMENTS VILLA Carmen.

Perfect location to see the old town and other things

Perfect apartment, perfect location. Enough buses within walking distance that goes to the old town, but this part of town is also interesting. There is a nice beer brewery around the corner, a fascinating museum about Yugoslavia and the port. Don't forget to go to one of the small islands near Dubrovnik. It's peaceful, quiet and the perfect place to escape the tourism of the old town and to have a nice walk.

The property was nice and clean. It was 10mins from the old town and the host was really nice she showed us the map and how to get around when we arrived. She also helped with one load of washing for us.

The only thing to be prepare for is the property is up a hill so if you have a lot of luggage the driveway is steep and then you have to walk up the stairs to get to the front door.

Good location close to the new port and local restaurants. Very convenient to walk or travel by bus around Dubrovnik. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. We were there during a heatwave and it was great to have air conditioning available.

Exceptional

Arijana met us and gave us a run down of the area and some recommendations nearby. The apartment was super clean and perfect for a short stay. The double bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of storage space. It was outwith the old town, meaning you're avoiding lots of stairs and it has great transport links to it and right by the pier for boats to other islands.

The only negative is thinking I had booked an apartment with a balcony, this would have been perfect to enjoy more time in the apartment and enjoy the views of the city.

Decent apartment on a great location to explore Dubrovnik for a few days.

The apartment is located in the port area where busses and supermarkets are close. Also the red history museum and Dubrovnik Beer Company are really close and worth a visit. The apartment itself is quite big and the fact that you can park in the building’s parking garage is a big plus. Ivona the host gave us a good overview of all things in Dubrovnik and how to get around.

The interior of the apartment is a bit outdated and could use a refresh. The beds are also a bit too soft to our liking. The walls are really thin so you can hear the neighbors talk when you’re in the living room. There was a weird smell in the kitchen (could be from neighbors cooking) and bedroom (could not figure out wat it was). WiFi connection was not great. But the biggest negative was the really unwelcoming cleaning lady. We were a bit early and had to wait for the host to check us in, and how this cleaning woman greeted/treated us was unnecessarily unfriendly, hostile almost. Not a great start.

the host doesn’t get messages from the booking app/website, which wasn’t that big of a deal but it slowed our check in a little. The ants are quick to get on any food left out over a minute, which also wasn’t a huge problem but worth mentioning

we did not have a sea view yet there were not many people in the building. We booked a double bed and the bed was split in two, it was not pleasant to sleep as a couple.

The room was spotless and every day we had clean towels. The staff was willing to help. The apartment is very near to buss station in case you want to go to another location. Prefere to use Uber during your staying instead of local busses because the cost from the apartment to the old town was approximately 45hrk.

Nice, comfy stay, not too far from the center

The host was very accommodating in terms of the check-in time. She was also kind enough to give a quick summary about the places to visit in Dubrovnik and how to reach them. We had the ground-floor apartment, which did not have any view. But it was quite well equipped in terms of the facilities.

The sofa-bed was a bit short for people over 172-175 cm.
