Quiet and peaceful rest.

Lots of greenery around, with big garden. With some views of surrounding hills.

Some of the steps are too high, literally require to side step down to avoid tumbling down. Mosquito netting is aged and dirty requires a good cleaning.

Private, Introspective and Close-to-nature!

This stay is for anyone wanting to stay in an authentic and close-to-nature accomodation. It's quiet, intimate and introspective. The rooms are large. In the evenings, there are fireflies all around the area and it's magical. They have breakfast and also food that you can order if you feel like staying in which is convenient. We LOVED the pool. Went there 2 times a day. Thank you to staff and owners for taking care of us - we loved the French toast and juices. Walkable and close to a bunch of shops. If you want to get your nails done, go to Dia T. Nails which is a 5 min walk!

The wifi was poor at times. That's all I would say.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place. Friendly owners and staff. Beautiful view. Good food. Good cleanliness. The greeted me by name every day, noticed pretences and gave me rides for a good price. The pool is very nice and clean and the garden is incredibly beautiful and lush.

A few minor things, some of which are beyond the hotels control. Even though it feels secluded it is right above the main road in the valley and the noise level is sometimes, especially during mornings and evenings, very high. The villas are also very thin walled and you hear everything going on outside (bring earplugs). The outside bathroom is beautiful but with the two wooden villas you are so close to your neighbors that it feels like a public bathroom. You hear every bodily noise like they're standing next to you. Also the surrounding area of Sidemen is one if the dirtiest places I have ever seen in my life and I have traveled 43 countries. Such incredible amounts of plastic trash on every path, in every ditch, besides every house.

Top accommodation!

The owner and staff were very friendly & helpfull. Breakfast is fantastic. The bungalows are very nice, in total approx 40 m2, including terrace & bathroom. They are all set in beautiful surroundings, with views on garden, pool and/or mountains. The walk into the restaurent- area is approx 10 minutes. There are very nice Rice terraces and a stunning waterfall to visit. Great place. Very much recommended!

It was not a problem at all, but the listing mentioned bicycles available, but that's a mistake.

Lovely oasis in Sideman

The owners and staff are really lovely and attentive, and will help with whatever you need. You can order food and drinks there. Great Balinese coffee. The outlook is great and the bungalow was very comfortable. Great outdoor shower in the bungalow. Lovely pool. Great value.

Sideman isn’t the easiest place to navigate on foot, and the accomodation is down a rough road, a bit of a walk from nearby restaurants and warungs. If you have a scooter - no problem, but walking back from dinner in the dark was not so fun. That being said, the owners were very kind and would arrange for staff to drop me places on their scooters.

magical wooden house in the rainforest

perfect location to visit the area. cozy little wooden house (only 4 in total) with an incredible view jnto the rainforest. magical really. team is super kind and helpful. we did not eat there but you could and we did also not use the swimming pool, which looks great though. we rented a motorbike directly at the hotel and it was in perfect condition and super affordable like the room as well.

Stunning gardens and beautiful bungalow

Our bungalow was beautiful, and very clean, with a lovely view. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and well kept. Every time we used the pool, we had it to ourselves. Breakfast was nice. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was an easy walk to nearby restaurants, but we also hired a scooter and explored the wider area.

The property was better than I expected. I loved the jungle outlook from my room. The room was nicer than I thought it would be and loved the indoor/outdoor shower. Had hot water at all times and good wifi. Was cleaned well and they served a small breakfast right on your deck.

The walk was about 5 mins walk from anything like a little side stall/mart which was no problem as it meant the property was in a quiet spot and I have no problem walking.

Secluded, peaceful stay

Secluded spot with beautiful views of the jungle from the garden chalet. The chalet has its own decking with a set of chairs and table where you get served breakfast which is wonderful. The room has a lovely bed with a mosquito net which was very comfortable. The bathroom is open air, with a view of the night sky above the shower which is lovely. If you want some peace and quiet, in a secluded setting, this is a great spot.

Papahan Bali is an amazing place. I arrived very late but was very warmly welcomed and helped to my room. The setting is quiet and relaxing with a lush tropical backdrop, making it a great place to stay. My room had a clear view of Mt Agung, very nice to wake up to each morning. The breakfasts and dinners were great. Everything here was great and the hosts are super friendly.

A jewel in nature

What a jewel. Immerse in nature, two perfectly equipped cottages with both beautiful view. Above all I will remember the kindness of the family that runs the place. They helped me to decorate the room for the 30 birthday of my daughter. This place will stay in our heart for ever.

The most amazing room and garden in quiet Sidemen

We loved Papahan. So much that we came back at the end of the trip. What you are getting for the price is incredible. The room is spacious and clean with your own little terrace. Perfect AC and wifi. The breakfast is great and served directly outside your room. The garden is so luscious and well kept. The pool is basically private as there are only two rooms in the property. The place in family run and the owners are so nice. I couldn’t recommend more the place.

You need to walk about 10 minutes to access the main road and there is not a lot of light at night. But it’s safe and with the phone light it was ok There is a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee

Fantastische plek.

Geweldige plek om te verblijven. Uitstekend om te wandelen en overal restaurantjes op loopafstand. De rijstvelden liggen om de hoek. Zalig eten en ontzettend leuke mensen bij Papahan Bali. Een echte aanrader. Het huisje is prachtig met een openlucht badkamer. Mira en Bungsil, dank jullie wel voor de leuke week.

Wat een prachtige ,serene ligging/pmgeving Het mooie, schone huisje midden in een prachtige tuin, omringd door de jungle en de dieren geluiden Ze hebben een heerlijk plekje in de tuin om te mediteren, yoga te doen, je kijkt uit op de berg. De gastvrouw; Mira heeft ons hartelijk ontvangen, geholpen en elke dag een heerlijk ontbijt gebracht. Echt een cadeautje om hier te zijn.

Parfait

La chambre (petit bungalow individuel) était superbe, très comfortable, une vue magnifique. Elles sont assez espacées les unes des autres pour garder une intimité. La piscine était très propre. Mira la boss est accueillante et gentille. Nous avons aussi fait le massage et la balade dans les rizières avec le guide, très chouette. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, merci !

J'ai regretté mon arrêt dans cet hôtel

Cet hotel est situé dans la pampa sans aucune activité à proximité. C'est sans doute l'idéal pour une étape en arrivant le soir et en repartant le matin mais pas pour une personne seule comme moi.

De locatie was iets verder weg van het dorp, daardoor ook lekker rustig. Een mooi huisje in een schitterende tuin met uitzicht op Mt Agung. Personeel was behulpzaam, betrokken bij ons en servicegericht. Voor Balinese begrippen erg schoon. Omdat we wat verder van dorp zaten had men de mogelijkheid om bij de receptie maaltijden te bestellen . Een beperkte keuze maar wel lekker. Warungs zijn op loopafstand , ongeveer 15 minuten. De keuze en kwaliteitvan het ontbijt zijn prima. Mira en Bungsil terima kashi🙏🙏

L'établissement était parfait, une chambre perdue au milieu de la nature. Le cadre est idyllique et le personnel d'une incroyable gentillesse ! La piscine offre un vrai plus. Je recommande cet établissement.

Je dirais la localisation de l'établissement, il est un peu éloigné et compliqué pour les grab d'y accéder mais on a quand même réussi.
