This was such a great find. It was like staying at a friends house, but you didn't know the friend lol. Toni and Lewis made me feel so at home and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. As a single female I felt so safe and comfortable. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs and the shower was amazing!!! I had use of the kitchen and breakfast room at any time and the garden to enjoy. The location was great with shops and supermarkets within walking distance. Also lovely gardens and the beach to enjoy a short walk away. Very central location to get to Barry and Cardiff.

Wonderful and friendly hosts who were quick to response to questions, and the house definitely had a homely feel to it, it was a great place to stay at. There is a garden at the back if you wanted to relax outside and/or chat to the hosts. My room was the right size and the bed was very comfortable, and with your door you can lock it. Towels were provided which was greatly appreciated. There was also a TV in my room but i didn't get to use it. During the heatwave, my and my mum's single attic rooms were cool. There was a fridge available to use for guests with food and drink provided for guests too (for breakfast). Very easy check-in and check-out procedure, the hosts were understanding if you told them about any possible issues with check-in or check-out. It was in the perfect location, within a few minutes walk of the shops, public transport to Cardiff (bus and trains) and about 10 minutes walk from the house is the Penarth seafront, which was nice to visit.

I had no issues with my stay, so my following comments are more observations that the hosts will definitely tell any future visitors about when they stay. They are very straightforward about the house and any issues with it that they are always working to fix on, but may cause a bit of problem for visitors for the time being. This isn't to the fault of hosts, who always warned us of any potential flaws to the house and they do get anything of issue fixed as soon as possible, but the attic bathroom can get very hot during the summer, even if the attic bathroom itself was clean, modern looking, and was in the perfect spot (right besides our rooms). This is a general warning to those who may not cope well with indoor heat. The bathroom/shower room downstairs does not have this issue. For those with limited mobility, there are no lifts in the house, but I'm certain that if the house could accommodate a lift or stair-lift, the hosts would definitely add this. For those staying in the single attic rooms, take your keys with you at all times, your door does easily slam shut rather quickly so you could be locked out of your room!

Room was not in a good location, wifi was dreadful, and the TV was unwatchable as the aerial didn’t work! Also, I was there for four nights with the same towels!
