The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious

The we site had advertised that spa, steam room was included in their facilities but when we got there we were told you have to pay £10 per visit which was not advertised anywhere. When we talked to the manager they replied only with you had to pay and they said they will have a look at the advertisement.

This was, without any doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I travel frequently and have stayed in many hotels, and I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and lack of responsibility from a hotel staff before. From the moment we arrived, the experience was already negative. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and impatient when explaining where we should park. Instead of properly guiding us to the correct parking area, she rushed through the explanation and clearly did not care whether we understood or not. Because of this, we parked in the wrong place and ended up receiving a fine, meaning we had to pay twice for parking. This entire situation could have easily been avoided if the staff had simply done their job properly. The situation became even worse afterwards. While our car was parked in the hotel facility, I left a large bag with my shoes inside the room. The bag was placed clearly on the desk — impossible to miss. Later, when we returned, the bag had disappeared. When I went to reception to ask about it, I was told that housekeeping had not found anything. This explanation makes no sense, since the bag was clearly visible and could not simply vanish. It is extremely disturbing that personal belongings disappear from a hotel room and the staff shows no willingness to investigate or take responsibility. Guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their rooms, and clearly this hotel cannot guarantee even basic security or professionalism. I am shocked that this happened, especially since I have booked many hotels before and never experienced anything remotely similar. This hotel completely failed in customer service, organization, and security. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want a stress-free stay where your belongings are safe and staff actually help guests instead of creating problems, stay somewhere else. Truly the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

This hotel needs a massive overhaul. I have stayed there many times over the years and the last 2 times have been really not acceptable. Staff at reception are not great, especially the duty manager who hid around the corner instead of dealing with my complaint directly. Facilities are worn out, air con unit was jetting out cold air and I was absolutely freezing all night, even when they put me in another room the second night, it was broken and falling off the celling, they even had to give me 2 radiators as they clearly know there is a problem. Spa is looking pretty worn, pool tiles off the floor of the pool., gym was decent enough they gave me a very old welcome slate with icing of Croeso, all smudged from the previous customer. During my last stay the housekeeping staff didn't even finish our room. Empty bottle of wine just left on the table, dirty towels, thin duvet and noisy air con heating system. I requested that for my first night, I have a refund and this has been totally ignored. I never complain, but this time I want action and I will take it further if I have to-. service was appalling in total.

Everything. The staff were fantastic, the selection at the bar was great, the room was huge. The decor was fantastic.

Not enough lighting by the door for the wardrobes.

Staff, facilities, rooms and beds were fantastic. The location is perfect, a three minute walk to the city centre, extremely close, but without the noise. Highly recommended.

The carpets in the rooms need to be replaced or (at least) deep-cleaned. They are very poor. In public areas the floors and carpeting are good.

Was clean

You had to pay for the pool and it was freezing cold so you couldn't even use it the hot tub was filthy dirty and smelled, was giving the wrong room on arrival had to go back down stairs and ask for the room I paid for and I had to argue with the woman to get the room I paid for

The staff were really friendly and helpful

The spa was stinking and it was the only reason why we wanted to stay at this hotel. Not only is was filthy but the sauna was out of use. And charged us to use the spa even though we paid over night stay. The bedroom was freezing and proper run down. Shame really because it has a lot more potential there.
