Friendly, clean and welcoming hotel in established avenue in Cardiff. Walk through park gardens and You are right by stadium and shops, bars and restaurants. Nice Breakfast in gentile surroundings.

Will shortly be less relevant as our hot summer fades; but did find room on 3rd floor a little warm. One can open window or use fan. Just adding that for information. No issues otherwise.

Parking situation. We booked this property on the grounds free parking was stated to be included. On arrival we were advised there wasn’t any parking & was met with an ambivalent attitude by one particular member of staff. There were three spaces onsite blocked by cones. After a 7 hour drive my husband found a space over a mile away and walked back. I was informed should have booked parking in advance. Terms and conditions state that reservation of parking is not possible. After returning to reception and showing the booking stated free parking I was informed there was a space after all. My husband walked the mile back to retrieve the car. In the onsite car park a couple informed me they were staying at another hotel and had reserved and paid for a space via an app a few hours back. Unacceptable arrangements and not a good start to our stay.
