False advertising and a cold cooked full breakfast
The facilities are good and the staff were helpful
Third time we stayed here so I upgraded to an executive suite with breakfast, rather than a standard double room. The suite is advertised as 'SOUND PROOF' which is a lie, as me and my two girls had a noise complaint at 10:15 for watching a film and laughing. Also the breakfast was not good. Everything looked freshly prepared but it was stone cold, VERY disappointed with our stay

Fab, comfy, homely, refreshing, friendly, fun.
For the price, having a pool, steam room and jacuzzi was great! I loved the restaurant and decor. Room was big but bedding and towels could have been nicer. Staff were really fab.
The sauna wasn’t working (wasn’t a problem for me) but the bedding and towels were a bit disappointing.

The room was very warm! Due to it being winter months , air con wasn’t on. We didn’t ask for a fan as it was very late at night when we was going to sleep. Maybe suggestion to put a fan in the room to be able to be used as an option. We didn’t get the code for the side gate. It has been unlocked for many years but needed a code to get in there

Great hotel but the spa wasn't relaxing
The room was spacious and the swimming pool a real draw. Good and close to the city centre.
We hadn't realised it patently worked to encourage families with its play area off the reception. This meant the pool and especially the jacuzzi was very popular across the weekend. Sadly for us, we look to a spa to relax in and it was busy and noisy each time we used it.
