Never again will we stay at this hotel chain. Disgraceful.

The French people that was staying at the hotel very friendly.

I’m so annoyed is understatement, started by getting moved to another hotel from Belvill to a Sunday one. I complained I had no heating in my room. Some of the sockets wasn’t working. The floor is soaking wet and they did nothing about it. I complain twice and nothing.

Very disappointed

The property itself was nice; however, our overall experience was very disappointing. We arrived at 3pm, which was the stated check-in time, as we had an evening meal booked for 4:30 and needed time to use the facilities and get ready. Unfortunately, we were told our room was not ready and staff could not give us any indication of when it would be. This was quite stressful as we had plans, and despite asking several times, we kept receiving the same response. In the end, we didn’t get into our room until 4:30pm — an hour and a half after check-in was supposed to be. To make matters worse, we were then told a late check-out wasn’t possible, and by 10:55am the next morning a cleaner was already knocking on our door to hurry us out. Overall, while the property itself was pleasant, the service and organisation were extremely poor and left us with a very negative impression.

The staff were exceptional

Extremely hot. I have read in other reviews that there were fans in other rooms, sadly not mine. Also, I’ve seen other guests had complimentary bottles of water. I had to pay £1 a bottle. Shower was a jet of water, rather like a hosepipe, with no way of adjusting. Carpet had not been hoovered- loom bands and paper from previous guests. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t turn off so even with the bathroom door closed, you could still hear it constantly. Curtains didn’t fit the windows so I was woken at dawn. Windows filthy. Pulled back the covers to get into bed to be greeted by clothes moths. Lifted up pillow to find another. Bathroom sink cracked and bath discoloured. Kettle had to be plugged in from bedside table because the lead wouldn’t stretch anywhere else.

The hotel needed a/c. The shower was Great but there was no shower door. The whole hotel needs a new lic of paint to freshen it up

I am never one to complain about things but I had stayed in this hovel of a “hotel” if you can even call it that. The rooms were like saunas with no ventilation or windows to be opened I felt nauseous after spending hours in the room and what I’d imagine menopause to feel like. The pillows were as if they had put rocks into a pillow case, there were someone’s left dirty false eye lashes left in the room, the towels were stained. Avoid this “hotel” at all costs and I am contemplating starting a petition to get this prison like project bull dozed, side not- friendly staff

Room looks very dated filler in the bathroom door and in the bath not very professional I would expect better from a 3 star hotel £12 for parking poor paint work in bathroom

Don't bother with breakfast

Comfy beds. Pleasant staff on reception.

Breakfast was awful...only scrambled egg, beans and hashbrowns at the buffet. We asked if there was anything else coming out, and he offered a bagel but never brought it! We went to breakfast at 9.30 and it closed at 10.30 so they should have fully stocked the buffet until then, surely?
