apartment was perfect....decor lovely..spotlessly clean and provided with towels toiletries..kitchen towels and cleaning equipment coffee tea etc...all spot on...Hotel opposite our apartment was excellent..balcony overlooking river..drinks and food were nice and staff and could park car overnight from 6pm until 8am next say
my Husband was suffering with his knee on our visit so the stairs to property and finding long stay parking during the daytime was a nuisance and made things bit difficult for us... but to anybody who is fit it would not be much of a problem... and not a reason to put anyone off stopping in Doodle Den as it is a very smart property

A lovely, modern, spotlessly clean apartment that had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was very well equipped, quiet, and in an excellent location. It was especially convenient for me as I was visiting my son, who lives just a few hundred metres away.
Nothing of note. The only small suggestion would be to check the floor fan, as it didn’t seem to generate much airflow.

Absolutely immaculate with great attention to detail. Comfortable and modern. Location is perfect just minutes away from the train station.

Very well placed in-between train station and bus station 5 mins walking into Kendal town centre with lots of pubs and restaurants tea and coffee provided but you will have to get milk there is a store underneath the flat
Place is okay for couples
TV had Amazon but not terrestrial channels
Very clean apartment
On a very busy road if you are a lite sleeper you may need something to cut out noise there is no washing machine so if you get clothes muddy while out walking in the hills as we did it can be a problem if you have no spare clothing
Main gate getting into the back of the property doesn't close properly you have to mind your fingers!
Could not see any free parking near property
