Lovely Lake District property with a fantastic view.

The view from our dining table over the hills was fabulous, how lovely to enjoy our meals looking at the ever changing sky & green hills. Very secure parking, friendly host ( we had lots of chats), plenty of space in the unit & we felt we could really relax. We had a 9 day stay & there was so much to do within a reasonable drive. Top tips are the fabulous cafe at Levens Hall plus the amazing property, Leighton Hall, quirky Derwent Pencil Museum, Beatrix Potter's house & the lovely villages in the area.

Nothing about the property itself. You do need to be careful exiting or entering the driveway as it is crossed by a public footpath with pedestrians & cyclists appearing quickly. Just be prepared for traffic jams in the Lake District, we chose our times to travel carefully but still couldn't escape the road works in Ambleside one day- an hour sitting in a traffic jam in pouring rain. Luckily the beauty of the place makes up for that.

Mel & Sue were wonderful , friendly and helpful hosts , Little Burbank is very well equipped , warm and cosy , with beautiful views . Close to many attractions and great walks .

A comfortable apartment with stunning views and excellent access to the Lake District's attractions.

"Little Burbank" is an excellent choice for a stay in the Lake District - clean, comfortable, and with a stunning view of the hills from the living-room window.In a countryside setting close to Windermere, but with an excellent pub across the road, and a bus-stop close at hand (plus free on-site car-parking). We spent 5 nights here, and would have liked to stay longer.

Lovely little place

The hosts were just lovely and very friendly. The location was good, no more than 10 mins drive to the main town and shops. Tranquil location and space with well equipped kitchen and lounge room. Bedroom was comfortable and shower was nice with hot water

* Not a bad thing- but to note* This location suits travellers with a vehicle and caution needs to be taken with it being located on the main road. The bathroom is very small and floor gets wet up to the toilet. Take care in closing the toilet/shower sliding door, as you can get stuck inside if it's closed all the way Need to request the laundry facilities

For me personally I found the bed a little hard, but that’s my preference. The shower wasn’t that strong but I didn’t mention it.

Sue and Mal were very friendly and accommodating hosts. Sue was keen to explain things and show us the run of the place

It was very well equipped, beautifully furnished and the setting was lovely.

We found the bed not very comfortable. It had a dip in the middle which we tended to roll into.

Comfortable stay in Lake District

Helpful, welcoming, friendly hosts whose property is very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the large fluffy towels, extensive range of kitchen utensils and information provided. This is our second visit to Little Burbank, we felt like we had arrived home. Lovely views to enjoy whilst dining inside or outside. Very central location for visiting many Lake District towns and attractions.

Nice apartment for a short stay in the Lakes!

Lovely apartment clean and great for a short break with nice outlook and a 5 min drive to Windermere centre. Good pub across the road. Mel and Sue were great hosts and it was good to get some washing done!

Fantastic and affordable getaway location for couples willing to drive. Amazing and amicable hosts.

The location was perfect for hiking and the ability to cook was extremely helpful in managing my intolerances that store bought food can aggravate. The view was beautiful, and the facilities were very clean. Also, Netflix and such were provided on site by the owners, perfect for us after getting back from our walks. Finally, upon leaving we forgot our house keys. Mel called us immediately and was kind enough to stay in so we could enjoy our last day before heading back for them, in our opinion it went beyond what we expected from an Airbnb.

The biggest pan was still a little small for us, would have enjoyed a wok or similar for the kitchen. The public transport links were not as helpful as we had hoped but that isn’t the owners fault obviously, just a note in case that is a must for you. This was due to poor uber pick ups nearby that drivers were reluctant to use, causing a number of unaccepted lift requests, as well as multiple longer bus changeovers to reach certain towns (e.g. Keswick). The house also got very hot, could be our mistake with the heating but we believe they were turned low most of the time.

The place is beautifully styled, cozy, and full of charm. The location is perfect, 2 miles to Windermere but away from the tourist crowds, so you get peace and quiet with stunning views right from the big window. Just sitting in the living room was already so relaxing. The apartment has such a calming, welcoming vibe – it’s the perfect escape from the city. It is very clean and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen if you feel like cooking.

Nice fully fitted appartement. Friendly and welcoming hosts . Handy location for buses to tour the Lakes. Local pub for good beer, food and staff.

Perfect cosy apartment.

Stunning little apartment, fantastic location. Definitely very homely and cosy. Fully equipped kitchen. Even a new dish cloth and washing up liquid which I forgot to bring so that was handy. Comfortable bed bit squeaky mind 🤨. Excellent wet room. Perfect hot shower. All furnished very lovely.

Nothing to dislike Just be aware maybe not to use satnav. But the entrance to little Burbank is opposite the garage which sells motorhomes. When you pull into the driveway don't go up the hill drive until the gate been opened as it is very steep.

A lovely relaxing stay in superbly appointed accommodation.

Little Burbank is ideally situated, set back from and above the main road, so there is little noise. The view south across the valley, through the huge picture window, is superb! Mel and Sue are lovely friendly hosts.

Comfortable stay with wonderful hosts in a great location

A small comfortable, very well equipped apartment in a great location. We enjoyed using it as a base to explore the Lakes District. Delightful hosts who made us feel very welcome and they were very helpful with local knowledge. We really appreciated having access to a washing machine and secure parking close to our door. We would highly recommend Little Burbank for people visiting the Lakes District.

Perfect apartment

This apartment is fitted out with high quality fixtures and contains everything, and more, that you could possibly need. A lot of care and thought has obviously gone into preparation. The view from the large window is magnificent. The location between the Lakes and Dale's is perfect for visiting these areas. The host was very friendly and informative and around when needed but didn't intrude.

Lovely Little Burbank

Lovely views ideally situated within easy reach of Windermere, Ambleside and Kendal and just over an hours drive away from Keswick. Handy petrol station and great pub across the road. Nicely decorated with all mod cons, nice and cosy.

The driveway very steep you need to get a good run up and don't stop until yr outside the property as your car will struggle otherwise.

Clean, comfortable & warm

The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The heating meant we never felt cold during our stay. We cooked a few meals in the little kitchen area & had one meal in the pub across the road.

We weren’t keen on the wet room idea- on holiday it’s just easier with a shower cubicle so the whole bathroom floor isn’t wet.
