The most fantastic views, clean and comfortable!

The view from our dining table over the hills was fabulous, how lovely to enjoy our meals looking at the ever changing sky & green hills. Very secure parking, friendly host ( we had lots of chats), plenty of space in the unit & we felt we could really relax. We had a 9 day stay & there was so much to do within a reasonable drive. Top tips are the fabulous cafe at Levens Hall plus the amazing property, Leighton Hall, quirky Derwent Pencil Museum, Beatrix Potter's house & the lovely villages in the area.
Nothing about the property itself. You do need to be careful exiting or entering the driveway as it is crossed by a public footpath with pedestrians & cyclists appearing quickly. Just be prepared for traffic jams in the Lake District, we chose our times to travel carefully but still couldn't escape the road works in Ambleside one day- an hour sitting in a traffic jam in pouring rain. Luckily the beauty of the place makes up for that.

Mel & Sue were wonderful , friendly and helpful hosts , Little Burbank is very well equipped , warm and cosy , with beautiful views .
Close to many attractions and great walks .
