The settee and single chair could have been a bit more comfortable after being out walking all day

A good location close to Windermere and routes to the rest of the lakes
No welcome pack, no tea, coffee milk soap shower gels shampoo and a lot of the local information brochures in the box were 2 or 3 years out of date

- staff were fantastic!
- location was perfect. Although, it needs to say specific address on reservation. We got two locations.
- easy too talk to hosts if we needed help.
- bathroom and kitchen was acceptable.
- beds/bedrooms were very nice and provided a good amount of space.
- kitchen was great with supplies, instructions easy to follow and good space.
- washing machine was excellent.
- parking space was brilliant.
- batteries exposed on remote. Remote could be considered dangerous too animals, if swallowed it would we deadly. We needed to find celletape to put over remote control batteries.
- poor tv reception and doesn’t show listings.
- re-organisation if the room might be needed.
- the cottage was smaller than expected. Ideally, you need a sofa chair instead of an office in sitting room.
- office chair was tolerable, not good if you wish to be comfortable for periods of time.
- why have a DVD player if you don’t supply dvd’s?

Great location and lovely views,was lovely listening to the sheep in the morning.Nice walk to the pub.Lovely farmhouse down the road.Cottage pretty .
not suitable for four .leather onNo little welcome pack to say hi.Which for seven hundred pounds can be just packet if biscuits.No handsoap in any bathrooms.Have never took before as even three hundred pound cottages have hand soap and a welcome something.In picture was a fabric sofa ,and we got a very hard uncomfortable leather one.we would not of booked as we hate leather sofas.Patio was not attached to cottage ,so glad didnt take my dogs.Fasf advertising .Glad was two of us and not four people as it's really not suitable .
