About this cottage rental

Originally a bobbin mill, Bobbin Cottage is an enchanting self-catering barn conversion. Sleeps 4 across 2 bedrooms.

Amenities: Gas central heating with underfloor heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Private patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Off road parking for 2 cars. Pub 8 min walk. Shop 2.4 miles.

Town: The small village of Ings, with the lovely River Gowan running through it, is set just two miles from the popular town of Windermere in the Lake District. There is a selection of walks for you to enjoy in the area and a wonderful local, award-winning pub, the Watermill Inn. The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for many visitors to the Lake District, both providing a range of attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Boat trips are available from Bowness to Ambleside and Lakeside, where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated.

Lovely location
Lovely location
Lovely location, beautiful property. Listing is slightly misleading as make out the property is larger than it is. Very well equipped but not much space for food storage. Quite noisy from banging from neighbours and the toilets systems within all three cottages sound like the QE2!! Needs addressing. But we had a fab break away
