Modern cottage in traditional style located on edge of caravan park. 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Lots of storage space. Open plan living room and kitchen downstairs. Fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, oven, stovetop, TV, DVD player. Clean and comfortable. Farm shop and pub just down the road. Bus stop about 5 minute walk. Quick drive into Windermere. Parking for 1 car.
Kitchen is very well equipped but we would have liked a larger saucepan (sorry to be picky!)

Perfect cottage for a relaxing week. Superb views and only 5 minutes walk to the local pub which served real Ale and amazing food. Also short walk to the Farm shop and restaurant which again served great food and had a great Butchers. Fantastic week!

Great location for winter break, very cosy and warm cottage, fabulous pub and farm-to-fork outlet within walking distance. Convenient for the whole of the Lakes and Morecombe Bay region.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage in the heart of the lakes. Nicely furnished and spotlessly clean.
Some cooking essentials would have welcomed (e.g. salt, pepper, oils, foil etc.).

great location for exploring the Lake District, allowed dogs, well heated and plenty of hot water, clean and well presented.
no actual private outside space, located in a caravan park, staff were unhelpful and rude, leaf blowing early each morning seemed a little unnecessary, not welcoming, cooking equipment was poor quality and pretty limited, terrible hot water pressure downstairs.

This was a lovely little cottage in a quiet area with great walking on the doorstep. The cottage is not too far from a main road so it makes getting about really easy. Comfortable beds and really clean. The heating and hot water broke down whilst we were there, but after a call to the agents, this was fixed really quickly, so no complaints there. Good shower with nice pressure and a pub, the Watermill Inn, within walking distance that served good food and had its own micro brewery! The Lakeland Farm visitor Centre is also within walking distance and is a great place for coffee, cake, food. We had a great stay. Parking was directly outside the cottage and there was room for two cars.
A more concise information book would have been nice with information on the area, local walks etc and a contact number would have been helpful. There were leaflets though.

Beautiful location, close to Windermere. There are some lovely walks directly from your door, and it's I'm a quiet area. Great local pub too!
It was fairly cramped for four adults. We had our baby with us, very tight in terms of fitting in a travel cot in the bedrooms but we just about managed.

Dus prima.
Droger was onbruikbaar.
Badkamer was oud, tegels zaten los.
Echt waardeloos. Tip is pub Queens Head.
