My room doesn’t have a tv 📺

Great location.

We booked a double room. On arrival we were told that we had been put in a room usually for single people as the property was fully booked and the owner apologised. Not being moaners, we just smiled and got on with it. I would have preferred for the host to message us prior to arrival with the option of cancelling and finding alternative accommodation, we had our camping gear and 4 person tent which was twice the size of the room we stayed in, and way more comfortable and spacious. Pros: the room was cute and in a great location, nice shower gel. Cons: The bed was only 4ft and the most uncomfortable and painful sleep we have ever had, terrible mattress (rolls you into the middle and no support on the edges), bed way too small for 2 average sized adults, no headboard and no chairs or space to sit, so the only option was to lie on the bed, nowhere to place drinks, phones etc next to the bed (apart from makeshift bedside "tables" which were only big enough for the lamp, shower doors don't close properly, shower takes a strangely long time to stop (it will stop eventually after several minutes of turning off), bedroom window doesn't stay open, nowhere to place bags apart from in front of the exit door which is surely a fire hazard (that's how small the room was). We stayed out of the room literally for as long as we could because we dreaded going back there, sat in the park until bedtime :-( The free chocolate as advertised might have softened the edges a bit, but we couldn't find it.

Location is great.

Rooms are tiny , we were in no2 room. 1 and 3 where empty they were slightly larger. I am 6ft 3 and my wife couldn’t get past the bottom of the bed to get to the bathroom. There was also no TV’s

Very centrally located. Nicely decorated in grays and blue-greens. Neat and tidy. Even though you don't have a kitchen, they provided cutlery, crockery and everything you need to enjoy a meal in the room. Funky sheep toilet roll holder. We had a wonderful stay.

We thought it might be a challenge that there is no parking on the property, but the on-street parking worked out well for us. No problems at all.

Located centrally, Tim was there to welcome us - that's important to us, then we were left alone . . .equally important to us.

The room was smaller than we expected but it was adequate - a good price for a prime location so I probably should have budgeted higher - in the round . . . good value.

Very clean, nice young woman to greet me, great location. Comfy bed, no breakfast choice but plate, cutlery and bowl provided for your own food.

The bedding was too heavy for summer and no where to put luggage, needs some shelving on walls or somewhere to put rucksack, case etc.

Clean and comfortable , very welcoming and great communication and advice , we were able to drop off our luggage before the room was ready and notified when our room was ready.

The room was a perfect base for us. Very clean and had everything we needed for the night. Fantastic value for money.

Close to railway station, handy for Windermere attractions but still quiet. Good value, very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent location for the village of Windermere. Room was pleasant and clean with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of storage space and a good hot shower. Greeted on arrival by the friendly host. Car park opposite and only £1:20 for 24 hours if you park up before 9am.

Great location and lovely room with a very comfortable bed

Bathroom was too tiny and the smallest sink I’ve ever had

The host Hannah was fantastic, went above and beyond to make my stay easy and hassle free. Checking in with me on my journey there after a difficult trip and leaving me some little treats in my room. Easy to find central location, a real homely feeling, great for solo travelers.

Very good location, close to many restaurants.

Walls were very thin so could hear everything around you. 5.30am every morning we were woken up by a baby screaming, was woken up in the night by another guest snoring incredibly loudly and phones vibrating. Maybe bring some ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Location was excellent for walking to facilities in Windermere. Room was clean and ready before check in. The information left to read was helpful.

The bathroom was on the small side and the sink tiny but it was adequate for our needs for 1 night. The bed itself we found too soft for us and this did affect sleep quality. We didn’t meet the host but the lady cleaning the rooms gave us our keys, the downstairs room from outside look cluttered and it felt like there was no one living in the premises or present at other times.

Very helpful with my luggage. I didn’t have to carry it up and downstairs. The bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room. Very near the bus stops and shops.

Not much. The bedroom is a bit small but ok for one night.

嵐で電車がストップしてしまい、タクシーで移動しました。チェックインの時間が過ぎていましたが、部屋を暖かくしてくださっていて助かりました。ただ、オーナーの方に会えなかったのは残念でした。

- sehr zuvorkommendes Personal: ich durfte mein Gepäck bereits bereits morgens nach Absprache in der Unterkunft abgeben und habe eine Nachricht auf mein Handy bekommen, sobald mein Raum zum Check-in bereit war - super Lage zum Bahnhof (10 Minuten Fußweg) und zu vielen Supermärkten,Cafés und Restaurants (ca drei Minuten Fußweg): da kein Frühstück angeboten wird, ist das wichtig zu wissen - schön eingerichtetes Zimmer, ausreichend großes Badezimmer - Teller, Besteck, Wasserkocher, Tee und (Instant)Kaffee waren vorhanden

- kein Fernseher auf dem Zimmer: kein großes Kriterium, aber wichtig zu wissen

Alles viel zu eng, zu einfach und vor allem das Bett ist schrecklich Einziges großes Fenster direkt zur Straße, kann jeder reingucken, deshalb meist Vorhang zu, was das Zimmer noch deprimierender macht

Perfecta localización. Personal siempre disponible para ayudar (pide dejar mi equipaje unas horas, lo que es muy de agradecer). Disponer de todo lo básico. Gracias!
