The location was perfect for exploring Kendal and Cumbria, as it was a short walk to the town and the train station.
The information folder provided at the property was excellent, with details of walks, places to eat, places to visit and much more. I wish I could have taken a copy.
The flat was modern, clean and comfortable. The small courtyard at the was a nice place to chill in the evening and to let the dog out safely.
I found the bed a little hard the first night, but I got used to it, and really that's just a preference, as everyone likes a different level of support from a mattress and nothing beats your own bed.

Tap in the bathroom got REALLY hot, it wasn’t possible to get warm water in the bathroom, only cold or boiling hot

Living room was okay despite smell of damp, kitchen fine. Bed pretty comfy
Strong Damp smell when you walk in and throughout. shower was terrible, had to hold it by hand which you don’t expect for £160+ a night, pressure was weak, shower gel dispenser didnt work properly, small towels.
Finished poorly, marks all over walls throughout. Shelves not installed well. Furniture broken and chipped
Garden was okay but had a ring doorbell overlooking it which made us uncomfortable and invaded our privacy.
