it’s in a very beautiful area. There is a dog friendly pub just round the corner. The little enclosed garden is excellent both for People for dogs

we arrived at the end of a heat wave and through no fault of the owners the bedroom was not really possible to sleep in because of the old building retaining heat. We had to sleep downstairs on the couch

Cute and cosy little cottage perfect for my 2 night stay whilst working in the area. Gorgeous enclosed garden. I loved that the living room was upstairs. The cottage was very quirky with lots of character and original features. The hosts had left an handy guide book containing information about the history of the property and local area which would be useful if you were looking to explore during your stay. Waking up to the sound of cows mooing and birds chirping was idyllic. Beautiful place!

Beautiful location, garden is stunning and private. Sue was very helpful. House was very comfortable and great instructions for everything! The little wood was so lovely- we had a very happy dog! Also lots of information about the local area.

Curtain above lower stairs to shield sofa bed from the sun in the morning would be useful. We improvised with a blanket. Could have used a big bowl for salad. Back doors were a little tricky.

The location was really handy for our route home from Scotland and in a lovely village. It has a pretty cottage garden. Nice lounge which was lovely and warm in the sunshine. Pleasant dining room, very friendly welcome from the host who communicated very well throughout.

First of all, not sure about the description of ‘stunning’ cottage. The kitchen and bathroom both need updating. The shower room in particular needs looking at. The shower cubicle is very small and there wasn’t any room to leave toiletries. Slightly disappointed as it wasn’t cheap.
