Great for kids & excellent value for money!

We had a really lovely stay! The place was exactly as described, very clean and had everything we needed for a few days away with children over half term. The pool was great and the location was well placed for trips out to Silverdale and Lancaster. Communication with the owner was also excellent!

Quiet clean site with a lovely homely caravan, would definitely return.

Great base to explore all the local area, the caravan was cosy and warm, all the added extras (milk,biscuits,crisps) were very much appreciated.

A great 2 night stay. Everything you could wish for

A really spacious and extremely well stocked with everything you need to cook. A fantastic touch was the Christmas tree and other decorations. The owner had been earlier and put heating on so it was very comfortable when we arrived.

Very clean and comfortable. Really appreciated the little touches of milk and biscuits for us and the dog. Also great that things like condiments, herbs, washing up liquid and tea towels were provided. Lovely location.

Static van in good location clean and serviceable with everything we needed

Property was most serviceable...everything we needed .The host was helpful in all respects

We could smell doggies on the soft furnishings and carpet..We knew the caravan did allow dogs but we'd hoped it would also be possible to stay there and not smell them. Too many soft furnishings with that in mind . Also no freezer for ice packs etc .if the weather continues like this it would be useful .

We spent most of our time fishing which was the purpose of the trip and spent the evenings chilling outside the caravan

We liked everything really only downside was no shop in walking distance but I think this added to the tranquility of the location a very relaxing weekend .There are shops within a 5 minute drive where we could get anything we needed and nice pub restaurant just over the road

A peaceful relaxing location, a real home for home

It was a real home for home. A great location with such beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The caravan came with everything you could possibly need, even some games to keep us entertained. The host was so lovely and accommodating and left some treats on arrival which was such a lovely surprise, plus a card left for my husband for his birthday. We had the most relaxing and comfortable stay and would not hesitate booking here with this lovely host again. A*****

Excellent cosy luxury caravan

Lovely cosy caravan - comfy beds, throws, well stocked kitchen, good location. Best caravan we’ve ever stayed in. Onsite restaurant also good but make sure you book. Owner also v responsive.

Brilliant tvs lots logged in for rainy days! Two minutes walk from the facilities. Dog bowls left which was really helpful. Could all comfortably sit on the sofa.

Great location, accommodation was very well equipped and immaculately clean with home from home touches, all adding to an excellent relaxing stay. Our host Margaret gave clear & precise instructions prior to arrival including directions, property access and a guide to the area. I have no hesitation in Highly recommended this property

Our family really enjoyed staying here, the surrounding is beautiful, the place was clean, with tea, coffee, the heating worked well when we needed it. The beds were comfortable. Communication was good too, very happy 😊

Instructions were clear and concise. Nice little walks around the fishing ponds, brilliant for our dog. The facilities including the wifi were fantastic. Truly a home from home feeling to the place.

Was ok, apart from being spied on...................

Caravan was ideal for what we needed - a weekend stay to visit family in the area. We know the area very well so we knew where we were staying, and the local facilities etc.

We have an electric car, and whenever we book holiday accommodation, we check through the T&C's to make sure there isn't an issue with us plugging it in at the property, using the relevant adaptors supplied with the car. There was no such restriction in the T&C's of this booking. What we did not appreciate was being called at 10pm on a Saturday night by the owner asking us to stop charging the car, as she "had been contacted by someone to tell her". i.e. we were being spied on by one of the other caravan owners. We suspect it was the gentleman across the way as he seemed to spend the entire weekend watching what we were doing, to the point that when we were packing up, he was stood outside watching us in the car! If you didn't want us to charge the car at the property, that is absolutely fine, we have no issue with that, we know of plenty of areas locally (Booths for example) where we could do it, but you do not call us at that time of night to demand us to stop when we didn't know there was an issue. Learn from it and next time add it to your T&C's, but don't make your guests feel so uncomfortable.

Gorgeous caravan with Netflix and a Google Play. We played the board games from the caravan too. It was the King’s Coronation and they had hung up bunting for us. It was really clean inside. The site is in a good location. We went to the Water’s Edge and the Farm Shop that was close by and we went to Carnforth and Bolton-le-sands. All were really close by. The caravan has everything you need to cook, including a spice rack. We brought our dog and they left treats for him and dog bowls.

The caravan smelt of dogs when we arrived so that put us off at first. The worst part was that the caravan bedrooms were absolutely freezing cold and every morning we woke up the walls, our bedding, our clothes and even my phone were damp and wet. Whilst sitting in the lounge area one of the blinds fell off and hit my eldely mother in law on the head, my husband had to repair it. Even though it says it can sleep 8, it is far too small for 8 and the bedrooms were really small. The shower was awful, you were not able to get a warm temperature it was either scalding or freezing cold so was unable to shower properly and when you were in the shower it kept tilting down so my first and only showe I had to hold the shower head over me to wash. Was a highly disappointing break and I am genuinely glad to be back home in a warm and dry bed.
