Loved it - ideal, comfortable room to rest your head if you're looking for a change from the usual.

Super-cosy. High quality fit-out and furnishings. Warm and relaxing. Everything we needed in between two long days!

It's was a bit sketchy finding it in the dark, as the location is quite rural - not a lot the place can do about that though, it's more for visitors to make sure you know where you're going. The road it's on is narrow, so be ready for that too.

Beautiful and Quaint!

The Room is beautifully presented with a wonderful walk in shower room, plenty of tea and coffee available, the room was nice and clean with an extremely comfortable bed, all set in a quaint stone village just a short drive to Bristol centre.

That we couldn't stay longer to further appreciate what the area has to offer.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

This property is self contained giving you total privacy and comfort. The family are really friendly and have that balance of being welcoming and giving you privacy. The accommodation is beautifully done, providing everything you need and cleaned to a high standard. Everything is of high standard, decor is tasteful, classy and in keeping with the property age. The bed is soooo comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. Walk in shower is amaxing! Location is ideal for the airport and other attractions in the area. Parking is right outside the property. This was ideal for me as a solo female traveller and I would certainly use it again when visiting the area. Thank you so much for making me so welcome 🙏

Gorgeous comfy stay in the countryside

Everything! We stayed here while visiting our daughter in Bedminster. Lovely light and bright room with comfy bed, lots of pillows and spotlessly clean white highest quality linen . Modern bathroom and shower has great pressure! Loved all the tea, coffee bags, milk (at last someone has supplied enough!) and biscuits supplied. Everything has been thought of. Location was great , just a little way out from Bristol in a little village in the countryside. The airport isn’t far away but we didn’t hear a thing , would be so convenient if catching a plane ! We met Holly, our lovely friendly host , and she recommended a great pub for dinner a short drive away in Long Ashton. Thoroughly recommend and hope to come back .

LOVELY property in a pleasant village within 4 miles of Bristol Airport.

My room was beautifully appointed, and carefully decorated in a clean, mostly white style, with a big window overlooking the garden and parking area. I had my own door. Excellent shower room, towels, tea/coffee making facilities and mostly quiet. The property is on a single carriageway road through the village which at certain times of day can be very busy but the traffic noise did not affect me. I was grateful to the owner with whom I had been in contact as to my time of arrival, that having told me she was out shopping when I was almost at the property, purchased a sandwich for me as my walking route from the centre of Bristol, once I left the outskirts of Bristol, passed no shops! Very pleasant two hour walk though. The village, though small is very attractive and I understand that after MY stay, the village pub would be opening with new ownership and it looked a beautiful location to go.

Unfortunately, and the owner did apologise in advance, they were catching up with some friends that night and had two couples staying privately with them for dinner. There was quite a bit of noise, conversation that could be heard in the adjacent part of the house to where my room was and I needed an early start and wanted to go to sleep early. I didnt get to sleep as early as I would have preferred as a result. This was just the misfortune of my having booked that particular night. Be warned - if you are on foot, it is a 4 mile walk to the airport and the TAXI cost was an astonishing £27 for those 4 miles. However, had I known or worked it out, the main road is about half a mile and War Memorial bus stop is on the main road there, take time to get there early and save a lot of money!

Beautiful!

I needed to work whilst staying and hadn't chosen other hotels specifically because of the reviews saying poor wifi - but I connected easily and had issues. I couldn't fault anything, it was particularly nice to have a couple of small chairs and a table alongside the bed, so that I could sit and watch tv in a chair rather than have to sit on the bed (which you normally do in a hotel). There are also is a bistro style set outside the room to use, and the grounds are beautiful and really well maintained so it was nice to sit out there of an evening. The hosts were really lovely and hospitable too

Despite the instructions being very clear from the owner, I still managed to drive past the property as I had someone up my backside in the car, so went and turned round then pulled in. You are able to pull in off the road even if the gate is closed (I have a big car and there was room)

Brief but vey comfortable.

Perfect for a night stay. Cosy room, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom which were spotless. Plenty of tea and coffee supplied. Holly was very welcoming and we met her lovely Labrador’s. Surrounding area is picturesque. Local pub was closed but we had a good meal at the George in the next village. Would recommend.

Perfect place to stay for an early bristol flight

The hostel was perfect she couldn't do enough to make our overnight stay even predicted bringing scale round as our luggage was overweight! Bed was so comfy on that a 10 out of 10. Cleanliness also a 10 Loved the 2 dogs, so friendly

It’s a great combination of a historic house and a modern interior. From the very cozy bed to a wonderful modern bathroom etc. one could not ask for more. On top Holly was a very supportive and nice to talk to host.
