Pleasant small townhouse for a short stay in the centre of Tilburg
The location is very good, close to the centre of Tilburg. The staff were very helpful in fixing the blocked shower.
The house is not really designed for a group of four (adult) people. The bathroom and washbasin are very cramped and there are no cupboards to store clothes, so you have to live out of your suitcase the whole time. That's fine for one night, but after a week it becomes annoying. The house is also difficult to heat in winter temperatures. The second bedroom has no heating, which makes it uncomfortable when the temperature drops below zero at night (which it did).

Overall, very disappointing and unpleasant.
The kitchen was supplied with dishes and all the necessities needed for cooking and eating, there's a dishwasher also. We did like the fact that there was a garden. There's also a Smart TV so you can watch things like YouTube or Netflix or something like this.
First of all - before booking, please take a deeper look at the pictures if you are used to floor panels as you'll be walking on a hard, cold concrete.
Second - during our the heating was not working. I tried contacting the owner about this and he/she was answering but didn't do anything about it in the end so in the night we were freezing for 2 days. Unacceptable. We couldn't even touch the radiator knobs as we got the information that "they are smart knobs and can't be touched", so when one thing broke, there was no way to heat up the place.
Third - the overall cleanliness was, to say the least - unsatisfying. On the pictures everything looked nice and clean, but once we've checked in, oh god - it's different. The walls are dirty, there are holes in the concrete in the bedroom, there was a lot of dust on the lamps and shelves, in the kitchen the supplies are so sticky, I can't even find words for it. In the bedroom there were literal big and visible spiderwebs. The kettle literally has a black stain inside and it's filter is basically non-existent.
Four - it's so hard to open and close the bedroom door (the glass stained ones), the handle is hard to hold and they don't even close 100%.
Five - one of our friends didn't even got their bedsheets so he had to use the blankets from the living room, let me also remind you that we had no heating so it was really bad for him especially.
Six - The water pressure under the shower is really bad, the shower itself is also small which is weird as the Netherlands has the tallest people in Europe.
Seven - all the other complaints from the other reviews are 100% true, with the fact that the bathroom is not directly accessible and you have to go through a room where people sleep etc, also the communication with the owner was troublesome - I would love to describe more but sadly here comes the booking character limit on review.

very nice and cozy apartment
The location was great. A 5 minute walk to Tilburg central.
The apartment was spacious and it had all the necessary amenities.
The neighborhood was very quiet so it's good for families.
There weren't any forks, spoons or knives. I was expecting them to be there since it had everything else.
It didn't have a washing machine and sheets and towels could not be washed. There was a washing machine place nearby but I would expect that with the price paid it should be included in the apartment.

Mooi appartement, ideale locatie, maar minder geschikt voor gezinnen
Mooi appartementje, ideale ligging. Goed uitgerust, goeie bedden, leuke buitenruimte met (niet erg propere) tuinmeubeltjes
Minder geschikt om met kinderen te logeren, omdat de tweede kamer eigenlijk het gangetje richting toilet en badkamer + tuin is. Er is ook geen scheiding tussen de hoofdslaapkamer en de leefruimte. "2 bedroom" klopt dus wel in theorie, maar niet in de praktijk.

L'appartement était vraiment super. Très bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. on s'y sent très bien! Très bien situé juste à quelques pas du centre.
Notre hôte Eline était très réactive et très gentille.
Je recommande le lieu !
Seul petit bémol, la salle d'eau est assez petite et ne possède pas de lavabo. Le lavabo se situe dans la 2e chambre à coucher qui est une chambre traversante. Pour se rendre dans la salle d'eau/ toilettes, il est obligatoire de passer par la chambre.
