The Cabin Near Stansted Airport

Lovely little place, with all the amenities you could want

The Cabin was a peaceful haven with lots of luxurious treats. Maria provided breakfast items for our 3 night stay. There were lots of different cereals and jams. The courtyard was lovely to sit in at the end of the day, sipping a glass of wine whilst mulling over our day's visits. We visited Duxford IWM and Saffron Walden. Henry Moore's studio is also close by. Maria greeted us and explained how everything worked. She was a great host.

There was nothing to dislike.

Maria’s place was easy to find, the instructions were clear, and the she was available if needed. Although it’s compact, it’s incredibly cosy and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need—even things many larger and more expensive places forget. From toiletries, hand wash, and kitchen essentials to a first aid kit, fresh eggs, milk, cereal, and other little touches, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. One of the best short stays I’ve had, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.
