The location of the property was perfect and was very central, just a 30 second walk from the main beach. The host Jamie was immensely helpful and so respectful! He recommended some very tasty restaurants (restaurant Bilu and Cafe crioli). The airport transfer was very easy by Jamie too! We had a great stay and would highly recommend to everyone! 5 star stay for us! Very good value for money!

It's the perfect location and a very lovely and clean appartement. Perfect for a relaxed stay in Santa Maria. Waking up on the balcony and seeing the ocean has been one of the highlights of my stay.

Wir hatten auf den Kapverden fünf unterschiedliche Unterkünfte in unterschiedlicher Preisklassen und auch das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis in die Bewertung einbezogen. Außerdem haben wir nicht den Standard Mitteleuropas einbezogen, man ist schlichtweg in Afrika.
Im Vergleich mit den übrigen Unterkünften konnte die Wohnung grundsätzlich überzeugen. Sie liegt im ersten Obergeschoss, war groß, ist zwar eher dunkel aber vergleichsweise sauber und gut eingerichtet und sie hat 2 Bäder.
Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war tipptopp.
Die Lage ist so, dass man sowohl einen kurzen Weg zu einem Strand als auch ins Ortszentrum mit Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäften hatte. Die Umgebung ist absolut sicher.
Den Balkon haben wir geschätzt.
Wir waren im Winter dort bei ca. 20 Grad, also nicht schlecht, aber nicht unser Wetter zum Baden, deshalb bewerten wir den Strand und die Meeresnähe nicht (es hätte vermutlich besserer Standorte gegeben). Kitesurfen gibt es einige km weit entfernt.
Die Wohnung ist vergleichsweise hellhörig und dass man einige Außengeräusche vernommen hat, hätte uns nicht gestört. Aber eine schlaflose Nacht von Samstag auf Sonntag weil im schallintensiven Innenhof, an unseren Balkon angrenzend, ein ohrenbetäubender Lärm (mit Mikrofon, vermutlich muslemische Zeremonie) bis etwa 01.30 stattfand. In welchem Rhythmus so etwas passiert, wissen wir nicht.
