Lovely location right on the top end of the Loch with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The property itself was well equipped and was close to restaurants, a coffee shop and a grocery shop.
Minor issues were a lack of handrail to the bathroom steps which caused difficulty for an aged parent. Traffic noise due to being on a main road.

We had a very lovely three-night stay at the Cottage on the Loch. It is perfectly positioned, right on the loch-side, giving beautiful views of the loch and surrounding hills and countryside from the balcony, which is where we spent that vast majority of our time when at the house. The cottage was great – with very comfortable beds and pillows ensuring we all had a good night’s sleep.
It was just missing an essential piece of kitchen equipment - a corkscrew. We also missed having a table and chairs for eating on the balcony, or in the garden, as the lounge / dining room was a little dark, especially when you want to make the most of a sunny evening.
