Masons Arms

The location, parking for guests, which was secure at night. The room was spotlessly clean, a very comfy bed with beautiful clean bedding. mini fridge, and beverages in the room. The staff and owners made you feel very welcome. The pub had a great choice of food. The beer garden was well thought out with sheltered areas too. Definitely be staying here again highly recommended. Well done to everyone at the Mason's Arms for making our first stay in York brilliant. York has so much to see, so staying here is a perfect location.

There's nothing bad to say about this place.

Lovely overnight stay, close to the city centre. Quiet in room. The pub itself is great, really welcoming, serves good ale and the curries on the menu are outstanding. The nicest pub curry I've ever had.

Nothing to add here.

Free parking is available if you re lucky enough to get a space, there are very few in a tight car park. It is a 3 minute walk to the Barbican theatre . Food is reasonable. The room was ok if a little cramped, and the shower had seen better days but it worked wonderfully well. Plenty of out door seating if the weather is good. A reasonable place to lay your head for the night.

Food was not very hot when served. Very tight car park.

Staff were helpful, room was clean, comfy bed, good room amenities, amazing location. Would absolutely stay again
