Chose the Novotel over other properties as it had air conditioning and easy parking (paid).
The room was not properly clean, particularly the toilet and sink area. Had to ask for this to be done. Extremely slow response from reception - especially as they only respond via “what’s app” - no phone in room. No reply to message so I had to call them. Should at least acknowledge that the message has been received and they will get to it. Towels also not clean - had to be changed. Asked for walk in shower as per hotel pictures, shower actually has a large step up, not great for someone with poor mobility. Again I asked at reception, to be told that was all there is.
FYI: The toilet is separate to shower area and sink, it is the size of an aeroplane toilet with no window, fan or sink. Really awkward to use and not hugely surprising it wasn’t clean practically impossible to get into. WiFi was really slow. Really late check in of 4.30 pm, we have not seen anywhere with such a late check-in before.
