The room was good; quiet, clean and tidy with plenty of coffee and a small fridge for keeping drinks cool.
Nothing of note! Check in was simp[le as was checkout so nothing to add.

Lovely hotel. Great facilities, and brilliant location.
Lovely big room, although the 2 small kids beds were very much that.
Great location near the river and a 15 minute walk into York.
Pool is small but good fun for half an hour.
Bar area is expensive but has a good selection.
The parking is very good, and is till midnight the day you leave which was a huge help.
The kids beds were almost camp beds, and my son (13) didnt sleep very well.
Its at the top end of the price scale once you pay for the room, breakfast & parking.

The property was well situated close to the city centre. The staff were excellent - all very professional and helped resolve any issue we had. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very good too.
The car park used to be free for guests but is now £18.50 per day. The room was tired with stains on the carpet, chips to mirrors and the bath was patched up.
The room smelt musty. The window did not open very wide (as it had a limiter on it) so is clearly difficult to air which is probably why it smelt bad.
