I loved my loft room. Spotlessly clean, huge comfy bed, large bathroom with excellent shower, and I liked having the bedroom upstairs on a mezzanine. It felt very premium for the bargain price! So much so I actually wanted to stay in the room (I've been to York many times so didn't have fomo about the city). My room was ready to check in early too, yes you pay £10 for the privilege, but worth it when you've got wheeled luggage. Look forward to staying again.
The location isn't great for walking back at night if you're a woman on your own as it's outside the main centre.

Excellent location for exploring York. Room was very spacious and clean, kitchenette very well equipped
Loved the croissant for breakfast!
Couldn't get parked on site, but it was over Easter weekend so appreciate it wàs very busy

Lovely room, great facilities,good location, everything you need was provided. Lovely staff, very helpful and appreciated our feedback re: pillows and stale smell in room.
There was a stale smell in the room, very strong when returning to the room in the evening, we were lucky to have a balcony and could open the patio to vent the room. The pillows were very uncomfortable and could do with upgrading.
