    Central location, clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast with options for vegetarian and gluten free etc. only downside is lack of plug sockets in room.

    We stayed as a couple for four nights midweek the hotel was very central very easy walk to center of York we were on the top floor overlooking the river although it was very hot due to the lovely weather we had The staff we exceptional looking after us and went out of there way to help us breakfast was a little disappointing though Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

    My first trip to York and chose this hotel based on other reviews. The hotel is in a great location, and if you have a room waterside you get good views. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection for all dietary requirements. My only downside was that the parking was not available and upon arrival we were told that it had to be prebooked (which I did not see when booking the room) it might be advisable to add a comment that it should be pre-booked to secure a spot. The reception staff was not that helpful on advising where we could park other than advising us to google nearest parking. We then had to hunt for a parking which luckily we found at a near NCP parking at a cost of £40 for 24hrs which was daylight robbery. Would stay again but with the knowledge of rebooking parking
