Chalet Sofija

The hotel's location is outstanding, with breathtaking mountain views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The room and all the shared areas are beautifully designed and exceptionally well equipped. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and the cleanliness is truly impeccable. Everything is comfortable, finished with high-quality materials, and maintained to the highest standard. Overall, the property fully lives up to its excellent reputation and is a perfect choice for a relaxing stay.

The only disappointment during our stay was the dinner, which is included in the room rate. After a very promising amuse-bouche, we were served a rather simple warm starter followed by a below-average main course. My husband chose the meat option, which consisted of nothing more than a piece of meat without any side dish. The fish main course was also quite underwhelming and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the dessert did not meet our expectations either. An exceptional—or at least very good—dinner would have gone a long way toward justifying the overall price of the stay, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I also missed having a choice of wines, as only red wine was offered.

Everything was perfect. Aleksandra & Pop and the staff were amazing. We felt so spoilt while we were there. The food and wine was superb. We loved their little dogs - Joy in particular gave us a lot of joy indeed. Views were amazing. Would recommend to stay here if you like luxury.

Only tho road to get up the hill is not very friendly- is very narrow
