Studio Charme et Confort aux Cordeliers

This studio is a great find in Lyon just across the river from the Old Town. It’s a lovely apartment and very nicely decorated/appointed with great attention to detail. There’s an A/C unit as well as a ceiling fan to help keep it cool and comfortable in the summer. Communication with Philippe was outstanding—he checked in a few times on our arrival day to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend.

The characterful old building, the great location, the comfortable bed, good shower, air conditioning and a fan which helped us stay a little cooler during the heat wave.

Nothing really, although worth being aware that the studio is up two flights of stairs.

Central position in Lyon. Nespresso available. Very appreciated

No compliment bottles of water available at our arrival into the apartment. We arrived late for flight late landing...so at least a bottle should have been made available

Excellent location, interesting building

Check-in instructions were somewhat complicated and like solving a puzzle. The AC machine was broken and leaking into a bucket that the host left to collect water. If the machine wasn't on, it got too hot in the space. Near the end of our stay, the bucket was starting to overflow. The host wanted extra money for a second pillow for each person so my partner and I only had one pillow each, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was a strange smell in the bathroom. On weekend nights there is noise from the restaurant downstairs. The accommodations were not cheap so I am a little disappointed.
