Convenient location, but extra advice for overseas travellers would be useful.

Location . We also appreciated a slight extension for a late checkout.

It was disappointing that our host did not pre warn us of the severe weather warning, so we had previous knowledge that everything would be closed. We had no food etc Other travellers we spoke with had been pre warned. There were no instructions for hot water switch ( which just happened to be in the second bedroom near a lamp ), which was inadvertently switched off thinking it was a light switch , so we had no hot water for two days. I think some notes about the experiences, and town facilities , would be good. Lots of loose door handles , average internet .

Apartment was adequate and we liked the location but for the price was lacking. Very average

Location was close to the train station which was great.

The entrance way and stairwell to the apartment was very dirty and dusty including the door mat to the apartment. Apartment inside was clean. No tea towels were supplied and proper bath towels should have been supplied instead of the thin cotton sheet thing. The sofa bed and mattress was awful and unusable - mattress on it was so old, thin and worn. The lock box was broken so we had to walk 5 min in La Spezia to collect the key. It was difficult not having a lock box when staying as there was 4 of us and only 1 set of keys - we could not go different ways as we then could not get back into apartment if another person had keys. Washing machine - needed instructions. Kitchen very tiny. No airconditioning.

the strainstaion is a few minutes away, nice big home with balconies to the street and the see

Each room has a balcony, that we did not know/expect from the pictures. it is very close the the train station, which was important as this was our main means of travel while in Cinque Terre
