Cà Vivaldi Riomaggiore

Riomaggiore is a beautiful place and Cà Vivaldi is a lovely place to stay. The host was generous in stocking the apartment with everything we needed, including lots of coffee pods and tea. The kitchen is very well set up.

Be warned that there are MANY steps to get your bags up on arrival, but that will apply to every property in Riomaggiore. It will be worth the effort! You should enquire about the price of the hot tub before booking if use of it is important to you.

Great location in the centre of the lovely village. Staff were very proactive with communications. So much space for our family of five. The highlight was the fantastic large rooftop terrace.

Fantastic location with a great host

Location of the property was fantastic with great views from the terrace. The host was great and was always very quick to answer any queries. There were only two of us, but this property would be fantastic for 4 or more as it was so large. Great facilities, very clean.

Nothing to do with the host or the property, but the noise from the street until 5am was quite difficult so we didn't have the greatest sleep. It may have been a one off due to the holiday season over Easter. Even with the noise that night, I would still highly recommend the property as it was so good.

Exceptionally located with a beautiful view

The location is fabulous, considering that it's just 5 minutes walk from the train station and the terrace accords the view of the street as well as the sea. It's located on the main Street of the Riomaggiore which makes it super convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine!

The bathroom & toilet is on a different floor level than the bedrooms which makes it a bit of a hassle especially during night time. As the apartment is located on the busy street, there is a lot of noise at all times. In the early morning garbage collection happens on the same street which creates terrible noise.

room is big and clean , great location with view on the top floor terrace. host is very nice to give us enough info during our stay at the village .

the only complaint I have is the bathroom at the separate floor, which is not very convince but for most of the houses in village are very small n remodeling their max capacity , so the layout of the house can’t complain too much

Fantastic base for a wonderful time in Cinque Terra!

Apartment was sparkling clean , with all of necessities for cooking I.e. olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc. well stocked for cooking utensils. Andrew was so responsive to any question or issue( our train was delayed by earthquake) offered alternative transportation. Video showing where apartment was located was genius!! Deck had a fantastic view of town and the sunsets!! Couldn’t ask for anything better!!

All in all a great fantastic experience.

This place it has prime location! It was literally less than a 10 min walk from the train st. Less than 10 min walk to the beach, the panoramic points, the Marina, the church and the castle. It is atop the main little road which is very lively and offers plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries, deli markets and ice cream stores. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely sea & city view balcony which was big enough to accommodate a family of 6 comfortably with table and chairs. The kitchen was also super well equipped. The host was very helpful and offered plenty of help when we were considering driving and needed guide for parking saces. He also sent accesibility videos though whatsapp to help reach the place easily. The videos were very helpful. Check in with the lock key was smooth and he was very responsive to us when we contacted him with wifi troubles. The whole city is a way up or downhill so we were happy we packed light and that we changed our minds from driving and left the car instead parked at La Spezia where the train was only 8 min. The place was great and we would definitely recommend it.

very clean, close to train station, partial sea view terrace, eateries and supermarket near by. modern bath and kitchen.

TV was not working. the heating and hot water was a slow. old left over toiletries for guests. Old left over condiments and cooking ingredients in pantry for guest

Amazing view with a great location in Riomaggiore

Great location in Riomaggiore, close to the bottom of town making it not too much of a climb to get to the apt, at least compared to some of the other places to stay. Amazing views from the roof top deck and very large place, with 2 bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. The layout is a little strange with the bathroom and kitchen on the top floor.

Just a warning that the stairs are fairly narrow and steep. The heat also didn't work when we arrived and there were no instructions for the property. By the time we realized there was a problem with the heat it was late and we didn't get a response until the following morning, so 1 night without heat in winter was not ideal, though at least it wasn't bitter cold that night.
