Perfect location for a convenient overnight stay.

Was very convenient location. We were using it as a stop before going to Livigno for the Winter Olympics. Easy to get to, free parking in the town and easy to access. Lovely breakfast.

Low ceilings in bathroom - not a big issue for me as I’m 5’6.

Charming, old world style with modern updates. Bedding provided for a very comfortable nights rest. Breakfast was a bonus, enough to get your day started.

Great Location and Lovely Host

We stayed for just one night, and the location was perfect, only a 10-minute walk to the train station. The host prepared breakfast for us since we had an early departure for the Bernina Express, which was a lovely touch. The room was cute and comfortable, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

We stayed overnight on our journey from Milan to Switzerland.

We had a table set out for a lovely breakfast early as we were leaving early. It was most appreciated and very special. All was lovely and what we thought it would be. Shower was good and beds were great. Right next to a church visit was a bonus. Thank you.

Characterful old world hotel.

Breakfast was pleasant but a little limited. The location is good for the upper part of the town, but quite a walk from the main part of the town where the railway station and old town are located.

Breakfast could have been more varied. It wasn't obvious how to enter the hotel, even though we had given a pretty accurate prediction of when we would arrive.

Tirano Stay

Sonia who managed the hotel is extremely kind and very sweet and friendly.Due to multiple bus and train delays wasnt able to reach as per planned commute and she was very helpful to arrange a taxi to get to Tirano from Sondrio.The room was very clean and comfortable had a great time here in this charming town and exploring Switzerland too doing a day trip.

Hotel was really nice! Clean rooms, delicious breakfast and Sonia was very hospitable and nice :) Bernina Express train passes by, and you can enjoy beautiful views!

Very big disappointment.

Wifi was only available in common areas. It was very inconvenient. Bad was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was very limited of food. If you go to it around 9 am almost everything was goon. My room was smeling like molds. No air in the hotel unless you open your window. The main entrance was looked all the time during the days and you should carry extra key all the time. I regretted what I pay advanced for 3 separate nights. After firt night I told Sonya that I am ready to live, but she promissed me better room. I trusted her because I was in this hotel so many times before when hotel was under different managment. I will naver stay in this Albergo Altavilla again.

Location.

The room ,what I booked and had my confirmation with photo on it ,was not the same room!!! Managment of Albergo Altavilla mislead me about size of my bad and location of my room. On my confirmation I had big bed and wooden selling. Instad of that, I had very small children size bad!!! I had to sleep on the floor, because I was afraid to fall of during my sleeping!!! Next mogning I reported about all my dissatisfactions to Sonya (manager/owner/waiter/city office employe). She was very argessive and almost pushed me out of this 2 stars??? Albergo. Very big disappointment!Specially because I stayed inthis place many times before. Breakfast was very poor , not Italian style at all. Also, you need to take care some key from front door all the time because nobody is in during day time! I gess , something shoud be done to fix this situation.

The b&b is on the busiest rode in town. If your room faces the street it can get quite loud due to the street noise. It didn‘t bother us, but something to be aware of.

It is very well located, restaurants and attractions are close by and it is only 1 km from the train station. You can walk to the hotel from there.

There is not AC. We stayed there in June and the weather was great so we opened the windows and it was great (fresh air).

前日には友人と二人で宿泊しました。当日は一人で予約していることを伝えると同じ部屋を使用させてくれました。チェックイン前、アウト後の荷物を預かっていただけたので助かりました。オリンピック観戦のため早朝の出発であることを伝えると、7時前の食事に対応してくださいました。朝食レストランからは、ベルニナ鉄道の電車が走っているところを見ることができました。教会も目の前でよかったです。ティラノ駅からは少し離れていて、歩いて行くこともできますが、バス停がホテルの目の前でしたので、バスダイヤをチェックして利用することができました。

オリンピック開催中だったためか、宿泊費が高価でした。

Piacevole scoperta dell’ultimo minuto

Davanti la chiesa di Tirano, quindi posizione ottima, con parcheggi nelle vicinanze che ti permettono di raggiungere il centro a piedi. Ottima posizione anche per arrivare alla stazione per prendere il trenino. Stanza piccola con tetto un po basso in quanto stavamo sotto tetto, ma dotata di tutto. Prezzo onestissimo nonostante l’alta stagione e prenotazione il giorno prima.
