We loved the decor and comfort of this apartment. We were really grateful the apartment was on ground level with no stairs as I had recently injured my back. Also really pleased to have a walk in shower for the same reason. We loved the decor and furnishings. Good to have a park onsite, although a little small. When we left I left my wallet behind. The cleaner rang the host who rang us - we were due to depart Heathrow the next morning - my husband drove back to pick up my wallet (3 hours round trip) and met host to pick it up. Much appreciated the kindness. Also excellent location.

Beautifully and comfortably furnished. The location was excellent and it was great to have parking.

Beautifully decorated, a seamless mix of period and contemporary design, full of modern tech and gadgets comfortable furniture the list goes on and on.

Leaving

Property felt like home from home, very comfortable and warm. Car parking very good, step out of your car right next to the property entrance. The property is situated in a lovely quiet area just minutes from the town centre. Host was very communicative and helpfull regarding local restaurants and entertainment / places to visit. If you like squirrels remember to take nuts with you to feed them along the splendid river walk into town.

As someone relatively local and hotel hopping during home renovations, with my little Shih Tzu of course, this place was a gem. A lovely secluded court with all amenities either in apartment or a very short walk (Uber eats is a godsend for the lazy). Awesome decor, very comfortable, easy check in and out. Really cannot recommend enough. Also the Bull pub next door is very friendly and accommodating. So grateful to Colin for the stay 🙏💜

We loved the quirky nature of the property. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was outstandingly comfortable. Colin was a fantastic host, bringing round an extra heater when it so cold and always replying quickly. He even left us a gift which we enjoyed drinking. So generous. This is a rare find. We would certainly come again.

The location was fantastic within walking distance to most attractions and lovely restaurants and pubs nearby. With free parking at the property it was an excellent choice

On first sight it looked quirky and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and we liked the decor.

It could have been cleaner and more plates etc would have been better. I had a shower to go out Friday evening we had put the electric steel towel rail on beforehand. I got out of the shower and bent over to dry my feet. My bottom slightly touched the heater and I was. Burnt badly on my left buttock. I screamed and my husband rushed to me. He was shocked when he saw my injury. He couldn’t touch the rail as it was dangerously hot. There is no warning notice regarding this. This spoilt our time in Stratford due to my considerable pain. I had to get medical advice to treat my injury which 4 days later is still painful. Also there are no instructions to operate the wall heaters. The dish washer was broken and Colin told us on the Friday when we arrived he needed to replace it. On the Sunday morning I went for a shower and there was no hot water. My husband looked at the boiler and we decided to turn it off and on. When he did this the plug was sparking we then turned the plug off and decided to go home cutting short our break. I rang Colin Knox to inform him of all of our troubles. He was sorry I had been burnt on the towel rail. He was surprised we were having problems with the electrics as he said everything had been checked in July. Mr Knox then said he would refund all our money of £496.00 and offered us a 2 night free stay at his penthouse apartment also in Stratford within 12 months. I then sent Mr Knox a photograph of my injury which my friend took on Saturday night. She was very shocked with my burn. Mr Knox then transferred the money back into our bank account. We will not be taking up Mr Knox offer of the free 2 night stay and will not staying in any of his apartments in the future.

The front door is glass and see through and there is no ability to block the glass with a blind or curtain etc. Privacy could not be maintained

Clean and location

Located close to the town centre and its many pubs. Own parking space. Well equipped kitchen with a fridge and everything you need to make breakfast or a small meal. The owners were in touch to make sure everything was fine.

Personally I found the dark walls a bit sad but I imagine that’s a personal preference.

Romeo and Juliets ground floor apartment was spotless and comfortable with all the essentials you needed for a relaxing break. It was only a short 10 min leisurely stroll to the town centre, canal boat basin and river avon boat trips. Colin was a super host and always had time to answer any queries promptly.

Cannot think of anything that we did not like.

It got the wow factor from the time we stepped in the front door, fabulous place everything you needed and more, parking, arrival Goodies and a fantastic location 5min walk into Stratford upon Avon town centre. Colin’s communication before and during our stay was excellent, Thank you so much, would highly recommend (but at the same time want to keep it to ourselves)

I would have preferred there to be additional hand towels. Everything else was great!

Quirky style of decoration antique with a modern twist , quality facilities and furnishings, the welcome selection was a lovely touch. Located just outside of town avoiding the hustle and bustle but close enough for a short scenic stroll to town .

I’m hard pressed to find anything I didn’t like , did have a suggestion regarding a few more kitchen utensils which has now been implemented otherwise for the area and the quality excellent value without compromise.

Colin, our host could not be more helpful, trying to make our stay the best it could be. Would book again in a heartbeat 🤗

The apartment was clean and cozy, the host went above and beyond for us with plenty of recommendations and the welcome gifts were a lovely’s surprise

The flat is a hop skip of a walk from the centre of town (5 mins if dawdling), tucked away in a quiet courtyard in Old Town. Very tastefully decorated, Egyptian cotton bedding, quality kitchen, and well equipped including HD TV with all the streaming you'd need for a rainy day. The fridge was filled with a welcome package of goodies better than when I visit my own mother. Collin was extremely helpful, even offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit (outside the obvious) without being intrusive. The shower is roomy, proper walk-in job with good controls. One of the best stays I've had in years.

This was such a beautiful space! Close to everything in a lovely part of Stratford...near the river and Trinity church.Walking distance to town. Incredibly comfortable bed,fabulous shower and well equipped kitchen. We wished we had booked for longer! Will definitely go again.

Wow!! What an amazing property! The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a stay in Stratford-upon-Avon. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the shower is incredible. It is also within walking distance of all the sights and easy to get to from the train station. The cherry on the cake was the gracious host! Colin was friendly, helpful and available for any queries I had. I cannot recommend this apartment enough and will definitely be returning!
