Shakespeare's Writing Den On Riverside

Such a beautiful place. Very well equipped. Lots of towels etc and toiletries which I was surprised about. Perfect central location and even though a market gets built on a Sunday morning it was all done very respectfully of the neighbours and was silent. Wonderful trip.

Very awkward getting through private gates due to a car being parked in garage area . Wouldn't have got through if we had a case.

The best aspect of this studio flat is it's location, which is on Waterside, right beside the river and about a minutes walk from the RSC which was perfect for me. It is quiet and well-equipped despite being compact in layout. Access was easy, everything I needed was provided, the bed was great as was the shower room. I didn't cook but the kitchen facilities looked comprehensive in a sort of ApartHotel format. I was a bit cold but then I noticed that an electric radiator had been provided which I failed to see when I first arrived. I bet the place is marvellously snug in winter and the location couldn't be bettered.

A lot has been fitted into a very small footprint but that's the payoff I guess for the very central location. And I was cold, although that might have been my fault because I didn't spot the radiator until checking out this morning. The shower is wonderful. I would have liked some instructions for the TV, which had thousands of channels but none of the ones I usually watch. They must have been available on it, but how to reach them was beyond me.
