Location of the property was perfect - just outside Ambleside. If the property was well maintained and catered to pets then this would have been a good property to stay in.
As per complaint, the property was filthy and showed evidence that the property had not been cleaned in a very long time - mould, dust and dirt all over the facilities. Many facilities were missing including basic kitchen essentials such as a sponges for cleaning up (all that was available was a cloth), no personal touches such as wood, dog facilities (thankfully we brought our own). If we were staying longer than a weekend, we would definitely have left the property early, however it was the Christmas light switch on so finding another option was very expensive or impossible.
