The studio is well-equipped, good WIFI, nice comfortable furnishings and large bed. kitchen(ette) well-equipped and convenient, very quiet location and convenient with buses at the end of the drive going to Ambleside, Coniston and Langdale, a short 10-min walk into Ambleside to shops and restaurant.
No warning that the drive up to the studio is extremely steep, narrow, twisty and slippery in damp weather: Nissan Xtrail only just made it up to the small parking area outside the studio. Probably OK with a 4-wheel drive but could be very tricky indeed in icy conditions.
