Comfy, cosy and great location for hikers!

Perfect location if you are planning on hiking in the area 👌 plenty of parking in the town but it's only a short walk from the apartment. Comfortable and cosy, loved the layout, very clean! Apartment had everything will needed and also is much better in person!

Excellent accomodation

Excellent house, top quality fittings and finish. Less than a mile of easy walking from Ambleside centre. I'll happily recommend this house.

The house is on three floors so may not suit people with mobility issues.

Well situated self-catering stay in apartment spread over 3 floors

Complete set of all facilities you might need, plus nice decorations throughout. Great location, being a little outside the hustle and bustle of Ambleside, but also still within easy reach of the town (easy walking distance).

Just a couple of very minor things; the shower didn't drain very well; and the key did not lock the door from the inside, so required the use of top and bottom deadbolts instead to keep the door closed.

Wow. A hidden Jem.

The mounting steps was in the perfect location. It was walking distance to the town Center of Ambleside. There was also a bus stop right outside on the main road , and they were always on time. The mounting steps was an upside down house. The bedroom downstairs and the kitchen/bathroom upstairs. We loved it! There is a special little garden over the road for your use. It’s got a couple of benches and the water runs along the bottom. Lovely with a glass of wine or in our case a flask of coffee. ( weather was a little chilly) The cottage was warm , cosy and very comfortable. We’re thinking of when we can come back!

It takes a bit of getting use to the layout but once over that there was not a thing that we could fault.
