Clean, spacious, good location. Everything was walking distance and a lot of walks starting from the town.
No recycling bin at the property
Some of the pots & pans were not induction ready but they had an induction cooker
The smaller bedroom had a cold draft so it was the cold at night

Size of the property was great, it was perfectly located and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. What made it even better was the parking permit, this was so very helpful with the list of car park it worked in.
Only thing that wasn’t the fault of the property was early deliveries outside.

Great location, both for access to the town and also for exploring the surrounding countryside.
Really hard not to like. It took me a few minutes to figure out the dishwasher and washing machine, there were probably instructions somewhere, I didn’t ask but the owners/managers were super helpful and would have helped had I asked them.

Excellent location and comfortable stay. The Alexa was great. Two bathrooms were ideal for us and the dogs loved the space! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and even though we had three cas it was easy to park in the local car park.
A bit short on kitchen accessories this year. Couldn't find a grill pan or a fish slice.

Location was perfect! Very bright, spacious apartment. Great that it was dog friendly, too.
Only downside was the outside space was very limited. But we knew this before we arrived & it’s understandable as the apartment was right in the middle of the town.

The flat is in a fantastic location right on Ambleside High Street—close to shops, cafés, and a supermarket. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday with our little dog.

It was very spacious, clean and well set-up for what we needed. The beds were good. As we’re the bathrooms.
Could have used more bowls plates and cutlery as we otherwise didn’t need to run the dishwasher very much. Also would have liked more recycling facilities and a bin in both bathrooms. Finally, the upstairs neighbours were quite noisy when they were there.

The property was clean and spacious
Didn’t like the smell of damp in bathroom.couldn’t get the heating to work tried to contact host regarding this problem they rang next morning but couldn’t connect call so spent 3 days with a 3 year old and no heating. Need to leave clear instructions for the heating control xx

The property was lovely - very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The location was also excellent - very close to restaurants, bus stops, shops and right behind a Co-op for groceries. It was extremely convenient to return to every evening and cook or step out to eat. It was also easy to check in and check out and our hosts were very prompt and responsive whenever we had queries

Lovely spacious apartment in the centre of Ambleside. Well appointed and tastefully decorated.
The big bed could do with a new mattress, it wasn't terrible but just a little past it's best.
Could do with a fan in hot weather.

Very well looked after and clean, larger than we expected. Very comfortable, and great to be in the very centre of Ambleside (yet access to the house from quiet back street). Lovely getting back here after a busy day out exploring. Free parking should have been available, but because previous guests had taken the permit with them we had to use the public car park. However, the owners reimbursed us the cost of this. Although the flat was very private, and we were not disturbed - the owners were readily on call.
Blinds on the bedroom windows didn't really stop early daylight getting in. Not a problem when wanting to get up early, but I can see could have become an inconvenience.

Not a problem for us but you may want to consider non slip shower mats . The small lamp in the living room didn’t work (? Bulb gone). Everything else faultless:-)

as with many properties in this area, there was double glazing so we could hear the road noise a lot, particularly over the weekend. delivery vans for the co-op and spa did not come too early.

The property appears to focus too much on new technology. No written instructions available as all supposed to be sourced via “Alexa”. If you are not use to this it can be daunting and extremely frustrating.

Really spacious, clean, very comfortable beds and sofas. Two good bathrooms. Flexibility to have x3 single beds in one room. Fantastic location. Support available by phone at any time.
Found some of the technology challenging! It would have been useful to have instructions for hob/oven, washing machine etc. Took us a while to work out tv and that it wasn’t terrestrial tv. Mostly it was heating that caused us issues. it was difficult to see how we could get radiators to come on particularly when we were cold and wet. we did get support by phone and it seemed possible for owners to override problem remotely but didn’t seem a consistent pattern! Disappointed that the open fire was not in operation due to chimney problems.

The apartment was clean, bright and of an excellent standard. Check in was very easy and owner was very helpful when I made contact to clarify a.minor query. Facilities were ideal for our requirements and made for a very comfortable stay.

A lovely modern apartment with a great location and facilities Comfy sofas and lounge with good entertainment selection. Great communication with hosts and lots of local information. 2 lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Overall a really great apartment which we would definitely recommend.
A bit of noise from the road at night in the front bedroom but thats a small price for the great location.

We had two cars but only parking permit for one. Had to pay for parking for second car in public car park a little walk away. We did however manage to park outside property on some days between 6pm and 9am
