With a riverside location, beautiful décor and private parking, this spacious studio property is just a mile from Ambleside.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Cobbled sitting-out area with garden furniture. Waterside garden (shared with other property on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: The approach to the property is short and steep with a couple of tight bends, making it possibly unsuitable for low suspension vehicles. There is a river in the grounds, 10 yards away.. Sleeping two, this beautiful open-plan studio style cottage is just the place for couples looking for a relaxing break in the heart of The Lake District National Park. Decorated and furnished to a very good standard, you’ll feel at home the moment you arrive. The open plan living space features a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and Velux windows which flood the area with plenty of natural daylight. You have a large comfortable sofa and an armchair along with a flatscreen TV, perfect for a cosy movie night. The high quality furnishings and tasteful décor make for a peaceful and relaxing space, ideal after a busy day of exploring the Lake District. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for your stay, and there’s a small dining table for two, perfect for eating a hearty breakfast at or a romantic evening meal while sharing a bottle of wine. The sleeping area has a kingsize bed and plenty of storage and hanging space for your belongings as well as a dressing table. Just off the main room is a modern bathroom finished to high standard with a large bath with overhead shower. High speed Wifi is available throughout the property. Outside youll find a cobbled area, a seating area, the ideal place for a bit of fresh air whilst enjoying your morning coffee.
Across the road is a communal garden with direct access to the River Brathay (please note there is a steep ladder down into the water) with additional seating and a grassed area. Boat hooks are provided for securing canoes and kayaks, if you are thinking of bringing a kayak.
Located in the small hamlet of Clappersgate, Fellside Studio is the perfect base from which to explore nearby Ambleside, a mile away. Ambleside has a vibrant centre with a number of bars, restaurants, cafés and delis and a great range out shops selling clothing and outdoor gear. Or hop in the car and take a short drive to Hawkshead and many of the surrounding Lakeland Fells.
