A very comfortable and stylish property at a particularly good price, managed with care and consideration.

It was well connected to the bus route from the city centre, quiet, immaculately clean and warm with all the home comforts available for guests. Tom was very thorough and had thought of everything that you might need. I hadn’t really expected to be able to use the kitchen, so it was a bonus being able to do so.

I’ve returned several times, and each visit has been consistently exceptional. The property itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by Tom, the host, whose warmth and attentiveness set the tone for a truly comfortable stay. His guided tour of the property is thorough, yet he’s always happy to answer any questions or offer local tips. The bedrooms are a dream: cozy, stylish, and always pristine. The bathroom decor deserves a special mention too; it’s chic and cleverly designed, offering a boutique feel without the boutique price tag. Location-wise, Maison Blanc couldn’t be better situated. Just a short distance from Nottingham City Centre, with plenty of local shops and eateries within walking distance, it strikes the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, style, and genuine hospitality, look no further. There is simply nowhere else in Nottingham I’d rather stay.

Fabulous, reasonably priced room in Nottingham.

My stay at Maison Blanc was great and I would certainly stay there again. Tom is a friendly and experienced host, so everything ran very smoothly. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and ideal for my purposes. It was easy to get to Maison Blanc from the city centre using public transport. It was excellent value for money and I would certainly recommend Maison Blanc for solo travellers on a short trip to Nottingham.

Clean, comfortable and good location. Tom was really accommodating, explaining everything about the property upon arrival. The room, bathroom and kitchen facilities were really clean and comfortable. I had some issues with train delays prior to arrival and Tom was very understanding 👍 highly recommend

Great room in a shared house to stay in Nottingham

Tom was a great and friendly live-in host, and the house is really nice! Would really recommend if you are looking for a good value room in Nottingham, only 10 mins from the city centre by bus. Was also possible to use the kitchen if needed, but I did not stay long enough to try.

Fantastic place with great facilities and friendly host

Fantastic place to stay. The price is great, especially considering the high quality of the accommodation. The host was friendly and helpful, offering me a coffee before I left in the morning. He also gave me a tour of the place when I arrived. My room had a front door key in case I needed to pop in and out during my stay, and check in times were flexible. The shower was very good, it got warm quickly and had good pressure. Towels and even shower products were provided. Clean and nicely decorated bathroom. Lock on the door too. I really liked the bedroom, especially considering the low price. The pillows were just perfect, the duvet was nice and the bed was comfortable. It was handy having a bedside table and a lamp, and I appreciated the extension cable running under the bed so that I could plug my phone in and put it on the bedside table overnight. There was a desk and chair in the room too, which I didn’t need to use but was glad to be able to put my stuff down on it. There was a lock on the door. Good kitchen facilities and on occasions where I have left very early in the morning for work, it was great being able to make myself a coffee to take in my flask. Tea and coffee were provided.

All good. On street parking is tight, but that can’t really be helped. I always find a space, just not always right next to the place.

Excellent stay at very good value

I had an excellent one-night stay at Maison Blanc. It was excellent value, especially for a midsummer weekend, and conveniently located in Nottingham: tram stops were about 10 minutes walk away, and major bus routes were available on the nearby main road (although I actually walked back into the city centre - it is not too far). The room was very comfortable and cool on a very hot day. Tom was a hospitable and pleasant host. Highly recommended.

Very clean, well maintained. The host (Tom) was friendly and helpful. There was a generous supply of communal refreshments and toiletries. Bed was firm but to my preference. The bathroom was tidy and had a rainfall shower with good pressure and temperature control.

The front door lock... Tom showed me how to do it (and made it look effortless) but it still humbled me. Felt like an issue of skill.

I had a fantastic stay at Maison Blanc in Nottingham and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. Firstly, the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making me feel welcome right from the start. Communication was excellent – I really appreciated the direct messaging through WhatsApp, which made everything super easy and efficient. Any questions or requests I had were handled quickly and professionally. The property itself was very neat and clean. My room was spotless on arrival, with fresh linens, a comfortable bed, and all the amenities I needed. The décor was modern and tasteful, giving it a cozy yet stylish feel. It’s clear that the team takes great care in maintaining the space to a high standard. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Maison Blanc is very close to Nottingham city centre, so getting around was easy. I was able to walk to restaurants, shops, and main attractions within minutes. Despite being so central, the property was peaceful and quiet – perfect for a good night’s sleep. Overall, I was really impressed by the attention to detail, the personal touch in communication, and the high level of cleanliness and comfort. It’s rare to find a place that feels both professional and homey, but Maison Blanc manages to strike that balance perfectly. If you're visiting Nottingham, whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend staying here. I’ll definitely be booking again on my next trip!

I had a very unpleasant experience staying at Maison Blanc recently

Good location

I had a very unpleasant experience staying at Maison Blanc recently. I checked in just after 9:00 pm with my son on 23/08/23 as per previously agreed time, had dinner and went to sleep soon after that. Next day I dropped my son around 8:30 am at University of Nottingham. After that by 10:00 am I have taken all my luggage’s out of the room and loaded in my car except one little handbag left at the lounge because I needed to take out some of the leftover food from previous night out of the fridge before leaving around 11:00 am. I was then working from the room between 10:00 am and 10:55 am and then came down to leave. I went to the kitchen to fill the water bottles and take out the food from the fridge before leaving. It was 11:01 when I was about to leave and the owner commented that - 'You are already over time and should leave immediately'. I said to him I know that I am 1 minute past check out time but I have already released my room before time and should be leaving any moment. I also told him that you really can't tell me like that when I am just 1 minute over time. He then replied that he can't do anything until I leave completely and became abusive and also told me 'Will you leave right now or I will throw you out of my house'. He was becoming physically violent as he shouted on me and I very quietly left the property saying ‘Thank You’. If this is the attitude of the owner to his guests, I wonder if he should let his property out for business. I was planning to visit this property more often in future as it is convenient for me considering my son is a student at University of Nottingham. After his terrible experience I am really scared and never going to be there in my lifetime.
