Very friendly owner, who stayed up until 1:30am to meet me and let me in as my bus was very delayed, which was very kind of him. Bathroom was clean and so were the bedrooms. Very good location

No aircon in the rooms although there were fans, and in the kitchen you can’t use the oven/hobs which could be inconvenient if staying more than a few nights

The owner, Lars, was incredibly accommodating and very helpful. We really appreciated his advice and his patience when our flight didn’t land until 1am! He made our stay better!! We had comfortable beds and gorgeous views. The accommodation was a long walk to the old town with the heat wave that we had whilst staying, but it is a 10 minute taxi to Piles Gate - I would recommend using Bolt or Uber. Bolt or Uber gave us cheap taxi fairs and we were advised that hailing a taxi might lead to a much pricier fair. We stayed for 2 nights. :)

The owner was really lovely and it was in a good proximity to amenities like supermarkets and bus stops. The shared bathroom was kept clean and everything worked to a good standard. There was also a small area in the fridge where I could leave my water bottles, which was very helpful in the heat. Also, the view from the room was gorgeous!!

Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning in the room, but I was provided with a fan and the windows were open during the night, keeping the room cool.

It is clean and centrally located with a good view.

the owner runs this hostel and lives in it as an enclosed flat (it’s not written anywhere here in the description and should be mentioned ) - it is run like a hostel but owner lives there too, which I thought is a bit awkward if you don’t know before. And it made me a little uncomfortable to be honest. He was talking on the phone till late night which was disturbing and I think that should be respected when you host people.
