Great location, hosts were great, loved the atmosphere of the place, views were absolutely fantastic.
There is no storage for clothes, we stayed a week and had to leave our clothes in suitcases which gave little room on the bedrooms. Maybe change out the king bed for a queen and make the wardrobes bigger, and get the cleaning stuff and extra sheets etcetera into some other storage. The second bedroom had nothing at all.
2 of the towels had holes in them, they were clean though.
The kitchen had some utensils that were broken and unusable, and had 4 coffee machines in one cupboard that may not work. The one on the bench worked fine.
The entry area outside was dirty and messy and detracted from the appearance.
The vinyl veneers were coming off a lot of cabinet doors.

We Love, love, loved the location. You open the patio doors and step out into the most peaceful garden, with birds chirping and wild rabbits hopping around, and a vista that takes your breath away.
The flat was clean, the beds were comfy, there were plenty of nice white fluffy towels. The bathroom even a basket of lovely soaps, shower gels, shampoos and extra loo rolls.
The kitchen was loaded with all the glasses, cutlery and dishes you could possibly need. Lovely pots and pans, sharp knives even a wee drawer full of all the condiments you always forget to bring.
There is plenty of parking, and you can bring the car closer to the flat to unload and repack without causing any congestion which is great.
The bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch.
The grounds are all beautifully tended and there are trees that must be hundreds of years old that looks spectacular. With plenty of wild areas that look great which is great for the local wildlife, and you do get to see the wildlife due to the peaceful setting which is great.
We will definitely book again if we are planning another short break.
There were a few drawbacks.
The bathroom didn't seem to have an extractor fan and it got very steamy when people were showering.
The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes, glasses, cups, bowls, serving dishes, pots, and lots of other stuff it meant apart from the fridge and freezer there was nowhere to put food stuff like canned goods and cereal. Not too bad for us, as we were only staying for a few days, but if people are staying longer it would be an issue.
The coffee machine in the kitchen was also dirty, had a pod from a previous guest inside and emptied more water onto the surface that it put in the mug which was a shame as it was a nice idea.
Just like the food storage issue there was a bad clothes storage issue. Everyone had to use the shelves in the main bedroom. Hanging space had to be the hooks where the bathrobes were hanging because there was an ironing board and an airer in the wardrobe. I understand why you would want to provide things like an ironing board and airer, but when it means you are sacrificing the only hanging space for guests clothes I think find somewhere else to store them would be good. We were going to a wedding so we had lots of stuff that needed hanging space so this was a definite issue. We felt had we been staying longer we would have had to use the luggage racks to hold our cases so we would have some extra clothes storage.
The lounge was beautiful with 2 chairs sitting in the bay looking out on that fabulous view. However, they were badly mismatched, which could be a look you might get away with if they were comfortable. However, they were 2 of the most uncomfortable chairs we have sat in. The fabric one could probably be made more comfortable by just putting new foam in the cushion, and maybe a clean. The fake leather chair is just bad, you need to take the nice tartan cushion off the chair if you want to sit far enough back to stop sliding off the chair, but without the cushion the chair is just not comfortable.

Absolutely everything… the views were spectacular… just brilliant, and we will come back
6 of us…. The last person to have a shower was always cold… but it was still ok

The location was great as ye would expect from loch lomand n it really makes the trip worth while
The door was open on arrival witch wasn't great but I think the door code was broken and the keys were waiting just inside on the hook so must have been ment apart from that it was all good n maybe a bit expensive for a winter visit as you only get 9 hours of day light to take in the view n surroundings

Fabulous quality apartment in the older part of house with Loch views.
It had everything we needed. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch.
Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The location next to the loch was really special. The building itself was lovely, a traditional Scottish house which had been refurbished to a high standard inside. Very comfortable stay.
There were a few large potholes in the access road leading to the property- go slow and you will be fine. No complaints about the property itself.

Lomond View is very well located (very easy to reach and travel to other locations in Scotland) with a wonderful view of the Loch. The grounds of the castle are delightful. The apartment is tidy, clean, spacious and has all the utensils and equipment you could need for self-catering. The apartment feels luxurious and is decorated with great taste. The hosts are continuously in touch, and though we never met them in person, the message exchanges made us feel very welcome.
I cannot really think of anything.
For those who might be hoping for a very quiet early night, you should be aware that there is a wedding venue nearby and that they play music until 11 or so. It did not affect our sleep whatsoever, but if you are of a very sensitive nature it is worth bearing in mind.

Loch Lomond location and the views brilliant, comfortable size, nice fittings, everything once in the door was pretty much perfect. The aspect facing the loch was just wonderful, and such a pleasure to be there and engrossed in peaceful and quite magnificent views
Only the entry. The actual entry to the apartment I'm afraid was dreadful. Clearly the entrance door hadn't been cleaned or indeed checked in a long time. Midges are a problem in Scotland, we know, but the infestation at the door of dead and living midges was terrible. The living ones were literally swarming and you could not enter without bringing in a significant number. Photo's available if you wish to see. A dirty old hoover box and a storage box covered in bird poo all adding to the disappointing experience. Not a great arrival it has to be said, but easily fixable!
