Highly recommended for cosyness & comfort

We stayed at The Nettle, and everything about it was exceptional — from the beautiful loft-style bedroom to the private hot tub and having our own firepit. John made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, showing us around, explaining how to use the hot tub, and even checking if we needed more firewood, which was a really thoughtful touch. The entire layout and setup was incredibly cosy and comfortable, making it easy to fully relax. The hot tub was absolutely amazing — honestly the best one we’ve been in. The water was perfectly toasty, and soaking in it while taking in the stunning scenery was just brilliant. A truly relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

we liked everything there's absolutely nothing we could fault, it was beautiful comfortable and so clean, the host even left us homemade cupcakes for my daughters birthday.

Fantastic location, fantastic facilities and fantastic hosts!

The location was fantastic and the lodge itself was beautiful. The living / kitchen & bathroom area was much more spacious than I imagined and the shower had great pressure which you don’t always get in a lodge. The beds were comfortable and even my husband who is 6ft 6 managed to fit in both beds! Fantastic place and would definitely stay again.

Everything was amazing. Very modern well kept accommodation, shower was exceptional, friendly hosts, Clean hot tub, and marshmallows at the fire with beautiful views. Perfect!

Lovely family friendly accommodation

The accommodation was immaculate and very modern. The hot tub and outdoor area was lovely. The location is excellent and the host was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the goats and saying hi to them each day.

Not a dislike but it would have been good to have a small larder available (oil, salt, pepper etc) or an option to purchase something like this just to make the self catering aspect a little easier if you're only away for a weekend. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable.

Excellent!

The whole experience was fantastic. Even before arrival, the hosts had contacted us to let us know what Pod we had and check in details. We were shown around the property upon arrival, shown how things worked and where things we might need during our stay which was brilliant. The Pod was spotless, obviously well cared for by owners and past guests. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit of an evening. Honestly, The hosts couldn't have done more for us to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Had a wonderful stay with friends!

Weather wasn’t great but we were still able to make use of all the facilities! Cooked dinner on the fire both nights and enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfortable stay, lovely little cabins which are very well thought out and immaculately kept. We will return!

Perfect short stay, amazing views, accommodation and hosts

We booked on the strength of other reviews and we were not disappointed. We were lucky and managed an early check in thanks to the hosts for being accommodating. We stayed in Nettle, which was the third cabin. Two adults and two children. Accommodation felt loved, very clean and well thought through. There were comfy beds, plenty of outdoor space, beautiful views, and a lovely little fire pit and of course the hot tub. Hosts were lovely, helpful but not overbearing at all. Checked in on us and went the extra mile to show our little girls the goats (Honey and Tango). Our kids loved learning about them. It’s a nice 30-45 min walk down to Balloch and lots to do there. We were very lucky with the weather but we would come back anytime.

Cozy getaway with stunning views

Amazing location with stunning views. The pods were the perfect size, well heated and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was brilliant on a cold, clear night. Doneil came to greet us on arrival and the hosts salted and gritted the pathways every morning and tended to the hot tub daily. 100% would recommend and definitely will stay again.

This was a great pick. John & Doneil are both lovely people who made our family feel very welcomed during our three night stay. The cabins are a really good size, modern & great for kids.

The property is set in a lovely location, the scenery is amazing. It was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend The Cuddies to anyone, will definitely be rebooking. It was lovely seeing the little farm animals and I even got the opportunity to help feed them on the day we were checking out. John and Doneil were the best hosts.
