Fantastic location for exploring Balloch and Loch lomand. Spotless and well equipped apartment, lots of lovely little bits which show attention to detail. Proper little home from home. Brilliant host on hand whenever necessary and able to offer additional information.

Perfect accommodation

Fabulous apartment with everything to make for a very happy stay. The location was excellent and all the facilities/amenities were of excellent standard. Luxury towels and comfy beds. Added touches included shortbread biscuits, fudge, chocolate, prosecco and wee dram of whisky.

Excellent apartment and location

We would highly recommend a stay at Riverside View. Communication for access arrangements was clear and helpful and the allocated parking is a real bonus. The apartment was clean and well furnished. Everything you could need is provided. The beds are comfortable and the living room is bright with windows to all sides and access to the lovely, private balcony with views over the river. The location is excellent with plenty of pubs, some with live music, and restaurants within short walking distances. We managed to eat at a different restaurant every night, granted some were better than others but there’s something for all tastes. You can get on the Loch Lomond Cruise just across the road and take walks along the beautiful river and country park. Balloch is ideally situated for exploring Loch Lomond and further afield, during our stay we visited a number of amazing waterfalls only a short drive away and fascinating places such as Stirling are only about 40 minutes drive. I’ve already passed the details of the apartment to a friend who’s considering a visit to Scotland.

It was perfect, I’ve tried to think of a negative but there wasn’t one.

Overall we loved our stay and will definitely be returning to Balloch

The apartment was in a great central location and was beautifully decorated and came with an outdoor terrace with a table and chairs which was ideal for the lovely weather we had. The host has thought of all the little extras you would need which was very thoughtful. Kindly providing milk, sugar, coffee, teabags and a bottle of Prosecco as well as some lovely shortbread biscuits and fudge.

I hate to complain but we all found it very noisy in the evening trying to get to sleep and the earplugs the host kindly provided done little to drown out the noise from passing transport and revellers returning from the local pubs. The mattresses were not great either and we all found they made for an uncomfortable sleep. To be fair we did stay on a Friday and Saturday so this has to be taken into account and would most likely be quieter during the week.

As we have a large car Parking was a little tight in the allocated spot in the car park and we were told this before arrival, but there was plenty of parking at the front, so wasn’t a problem.

Property is fantastic, clean, comfortable and of an exceptionally high standard, outside terrace was a bonus. Host was very helpful and provided very clear in instructions. Property is in the centre of Balloch, with wonderful views of the river but within short walking distance to all amenities.

Prime time 2 bed apartment that satisfied every single need.

This was one of thee Best apartments that ive rented. It had everything, from the host delightfully leaving a bottle of Prosecco for us on arrival, to the beds being one the comfiest ive slept in. The views and the Veranda over looking the loch was just sensational. Chritsine was the best host ive ever dealt with as well by a mile.

I would highly recommend this property!

Amazing view, very spacious living room, clean and tidy bedroom and bathroom. Perfect location to visit other villages around Loch Lomond. Nice kitchen with complete kitchen utensils & cookware, and only 5mins walk to Co-Op. Overall, my family is very happy and satisfied! Very friendly host! Thank you Christine :)

Hugely impressed and hoping to return!

We were blown away by how beautiful the flat was - the decor is lovely and the place is spotless. There were 2 of us so one of had a bedroom and bathroom each (one onsuite). The host included everything you could need. Milk, tea coffee, shortbread and tablet, a lovely bottle of Prosecco and even ice in the freezer! Perfect location also and huge private balcony, decorated with fresh plants. The attention to detail was really impressive and would definitely come recommend. We are trying to work on when we can come back :)

I would maybe suggest double or triple glazing on the bedroom windows as had to use earplugs when going to bed to block out the traffic noises from outside. However, this was a minor factor due to how impressive everything else was about the place!

owner was very helpful. Really great position for train station a trip into Glasgow 50 mins. Five mins to Balloch Caste. on holiday with my niece 2 very comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. lovely roof patio with great views
