Luxury City Seafront Apartment with Balcony

The apartment is in a clean, modern building near Helsinki docks and a few minutes walk to the seafront. There is a lift to take you to the 3rd floor. The flat is compact but very comfortable and well-equipped. There is a balcony which has glass all around with only one opening partition - it gets a bit warm with the sun shining in but it’s great to people-watch from. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and the owners left a comprehensive list of their recommendations. There is a tram stop just outside the flat which takes you into the city in a few minutes. We loved Helsinki and would recommend both the city and this apartment to anyone.

The two bedrooms are side by side with a sliding door between them. The door to the smaller bedroom was glass and there was no blind or curtain to block out the light at night. Only a small niggle - apart from that, everything was perfect.

The property has everything you need for a great stay. The location is amazing: steps away from the tram, steps away from a wonderful bakery, and market. Most importantly, this apartment is clean, bright and special. You will enjoy time spent in and outside of the apartment.

Having more time in Helsinki - other than that, we loved everything about the property and the our stay.

As a result of industrial action at Helsinki airport we were forced to travel a day earlier. The booking conditions stated changes were permitted but this could not be done online. Through Booking.com the property owner agreed to us arriving a day before our original booking. We were charged 405 euros for that one extra night! A cautionary tale.
