Wasn’t aware there were professional or semi professional starting work at 5am. I considered myself as considerate to others by walking bare footed around the house at 1am to smoke in the garden. Was scolded and threatened to kick me out without politeness. Be aware only good for guests asleep and not leave the room by 11pm Host is nice prior to the incident.

Sold me the same room twice? Pocketed the £

Location

Booking cancelled night before - i rebooked thinking there was some error. Ended up being charged twice for the room. X8 calls to booking customer support, x4 emails and a week of making these follow ups - booking said the owner was being uncooperative, the owner said it was up to booking to sort. In the end I was sold the same room twice. No one wanted to help once the £ had left my account. Not a great experience from either booking or accom provider. I’d rather have stayed in a hotel for £160 for one night.

The free breakfast was a good touch and initially the staff were friendly

Property is expensive for being so far out of the town, the bed had hair on it and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. The checkout time is insanely early- 9am. In the morning my Uber was 10 minutes late and the host was passive agrressive that I hadn’t left the property at exactly the time despite everything being out of my room. They then sent a text message of a screen shot of the check out time (it was literally ten minutes past) and I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up waiting outside in the rain for an extra five minutes on the Uber. Wouldn’t recommend - just buy yourself breakfast and stay somewhere closer in town as you’ll have to spend near 20 quid on an Uber anyway.

Mac's wee stay :)

Cathy is a superbly polite host! She was eager to assist with anything, and immediately. She makes sure that you enjoy your stay and feel comfortable at the place. High five from my side. I can only recommend Cathy and Mac's stay.

Nothing in particular! All good, what you maybe wanted to note down, is that the busses on Sunday's early mornings don't go so often. However, this is not a property nor Cathy's fault, it is rather a bus schedule.
